I tried a beer and found it to be...

Bud Light?

Try one of these:

Beer is an acquired taste, and I never saw any reason to acquire it. It's just... so... common.

But seriously, some people just don't like the taste of it... I never liked the taste of it... not the cheap kind, not the expensive kind, not with a lime, not in a house, not with a mouse. It tastes like what I always thought pee would taste like. On the other hand, I always liked the taste of extremely dry gin martinis, which a lot of people can't stand. It's really a matter of what pleases your palate.

If you found Bud Light to be bitter and gross, beer might not be for you... I don't really think it tastes like much of anything.

I'm more of a Guiness guy.

Bitter tastes are acquired flavors

I hated beer up until I hit my mid twenties

at first it was only 'light' beers

now, I drink mostly darker beers with more robust flavors

same thing happened with wine

at first light wines, now I like more flavorful wines

I still have not developed the taste for scotch nor for any or the other 'whiskey' type beverages.

But I love sour stuff now

let yourself acclimate to more sour flavors, you'll find yourself enjoying them more.

I'm a fan of dry gin martinis and beer. Though people do knock on me for "not drinking vodka-red bulls or vodka-tonic or vokda-[fill in the blank]."

mmmm I love me a blue moon.

though I am disappointed that the glass with the beer in it doesn't have an orange slice on it.

.... muuuuch better

I like beer especially with a good burger and french fries. I think my favorite beer is Killians Irish Red.

Blue Moon is very good as well.

Corona, Rolling Rock, Blue Moon, Fat Tire (perfect when your eating seafood), Michalob Ultra and Heinkein are the ones you should stick too....

But start off with Rolling Rock!!!!!! :D

If you are interested in good beer, stay away from Bud/Miller/ etc. Go for a craft beer (Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat or Summer Ale) or something imported (Hoegaarden - an absolutely delicious Belgian blanche). If you find beer off-putting, you might also consider cider (Strongbow is good, the best I've had though is Hunter's Extra Dry - it's South African and I've never been able to find it in the US - if anyone knows where it maybe found, I'd love to know).

Beer is just nasty, period! Give me some green smokables any time! =P

Ugh.

I fucking hate beer. Well some of it. I had some alcoholic drinks on a cruise a few months back because of my birthday and loved getting drunk but hated the after effect.

And a few weeks ago I had a Corona but IT TASTED FUCKING NASTY. OH MY GOD IT TASTED SO BAD. The other ones mixed in a frozen drink tasted good but this. Shit damn. I did drink it all though and it felt good afterwards and i was hornier then usual. And it got me to sleep at least. And for my graduation party I had a samuel adams. I COULD NOT HANDLE IT.

Gah that shit tasted worse then the Corona. I only drank half of it. I felt like I was gonna throw up and all the adults were laughing at me. The next sip I took. IT WAS SO SMALL. But that was it. I had to drink some water and that barely helped. I couldn't finish it X_X

I CAN'T STAND DRINKING.

BLECH

I used to be strictly a scotch/whiskey drinker.

I then got turned-on to some Weissbiere.

However, I will NOT drink any domestic beer. Life's too short.

^ Someone's too good for the domestic shit. What a shock

:p

I love beer. Guinness is good, and that Fat Tire picture made me drool.

There are SO many better beers out there than Bud Light - and I live in St. Louis

Let me know if you need more recommendations Piggy.

As Benjamin Franklin said, "Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

Truer words haven't ever been said. ..|

Oh, I disagree.

What about Sinatra: "We feel sorry for people who don't drink, because when the wake up that's the best they're gonna fell all day."

Guinness is an acquired taste, that's for sure. Try some Harp - it's like me: light and fruity with a beautiful finish.

piggy you're in texas. there is only one beer to drink:
