Which is why things are just like 1776?I disagree. I vote. Nothing changes.
Si Senor! That's why the border is wide open.it fucking matters who votes
I encounter a lot of people who say they don't think that voting for Republican or Democrat will improve things. I tell them that those aren't the only choices; there are a half dozen smaller parties that have come in second and occasionally won local elections, and point out that historically when a "third party" has appeared to be a real threat to the major parties those major parties have adopted significant portions of the platform of the threatening party -- so if you can't stomach voting for anyone from the "Big Two" mark your ballot for someone from a party that better represents what you believe. Even if candidates from smaller parties don't win, those votes tell the major parties that people want something different.Just voting is also the least one can possibly do to participate
I vote for whoever because they say they will do X and Y and Z. Stuff I want to happen. They win! Yea!
The get to DC and all of a sudden they can't do X and Y and Z because it offends "[Text: Removed] Polar Bears in Sweden and Finland" or some such excuse.
Things are not like they were in 1776. And you know it.
I'm not lying to myself. I vote and nothing happens. So, do more WHAT?

Normally, I'd agree with you, but not this time around. Any Democrat is necessary to stop what's happening on the right.I encounter a lot of people who say they don't think that voting for Republican or Democrat will improve things. It's just too bad that candidates can win without an actual majority of votes cast; if an actual majority was required, change would be easier, plus I'm really sick of seeing candidates declared winners with little more than 40% of the votes cast.
The border isn't "wide open."
Do more? How about stopping complaining, getting out of the house, volunteering your time and money, becoming a candidate,
Last I read was 10 Million since Joe opened the border. That's what they admit to have counted. Being a Fed number, it's a lie of course.
It's been "13 million illegals in the country" since 1980. Yet, my little town has almost doubled in size and it's not white folks speaking English moving out from Leander.
It's more like 80 million illegals.
What are you running for? I'll vote for you if I can.
I think any vote is better than none. I'm amazed at how many people don't vote even though the ballot is sent to them via mail and there are repurposed mail drop boxes you can drive up to and drop in the ballot in its envelope -- but for some once they realize they can effectively vote "Fuck you!" with a small-party vote they'll make the small effort.Normally, I'd agree with you, but not this time around. By the way, 80 million illegal people would be close to 20 percent of the entire population. that is a ridiculous figure.Last I read was 10 Million since Joe opened the border. That's what they admit to have counted. Being a Fed number, it's a lie of course.

Breaking Down the Immigration Figures - FactCheck.org
Encounters on the southern border of those trying to enter the U.S. without authorization have gone up significantly under President Joe Biden. Government statistics show that in the initial processing of millions of encounters, 2.5 million people have been released into the U.S. and 2.8 million...www.factcheck.org
You'll notice that the great majority of people in this country without citizenship are not here illegally, and the number of people who snuck in is under a million. You'll also notice who is ginning up the fear and hysteria.

This.
I just never get why right wingers are always so misinformed. Except they want to be.
All their 'facts' are derived from the few social media pages they slaver over because, of course, they can't believe the MSM....
[Text: Removed] '[Text: Removed]'? Maybe dial your racism down a notch?Yeah, they are Americans. White Americans. Now explain all of the [Text: Removed] with EBT cards. I worked at the local HEB and yeah, 80% of the Non Native English Speakers have a fucking food stamp card.

You do know, don't you that the EBT benefits end up in the the hands of the grocers and the food producers in the US don't you?
