Then Go fly it around the Chicago West side projects. Go to every door and knock with the flag in your hand and talk about its history and come back and tell me if you are still alive.

I wouldn't knock on a door in the Chicago west side projects with or without the confederate flag, same as I would not drive down Martin Luther Kind Blvd in Fort Lauderdale or go to over town in Miami. Their are certain places where white boys are not meant to be!

The Confederate flag flys over our state capitol. It is our heritage.

I had to for old time's sake

Well then, when this thread goes the way you intend it to go(badly), do me a favor.

Do not start whining about feeling attacked.
Do not start ignoring people that aren't giving you praise.
Do not start attacking people that are tired of you pulling from the same pool of "hot button yet skewed" topics.
And. Do not invite us to another showing of your tired persecution complex "for old times' sake".

Sometimes, not saying anything at all is better than repeating yourself. But hey, you found a new friend in that fool joshj50 up there - good job!

(as for your quip on confederate flags and black neighborhoods, it's interesting that you mentioned this, because I just saw a woman with a clearly visible confederate flag tattoo walk into my store today. She walked right back out just fine.

And you know what's funny? You don't realize that you're stereotyping people yourself by saying these things. But... it's you, so I don't give your theories too much credential anyway - might as well learn astrophysics from a crackhead.)

Enough of what's plugged up your ass :P

Exactly the childish, ignorant, immature response I would expect from you. You've posted this same question over and over and over again during the past few years and it never accomplishes anything.

You can be as racist as you want to be, but stop accusing everyone else of being it.

It's part of every Americans heritage it's the sickos who use the flag for the wrong purposes that makes it look bad

I don't wish to dignify this bullcrap with a reply - but you're gonna need this......

and if you stand next to a can of gasoline, you'll get a whole lot more bang for the buck - when someone throws a lighted match at you !

So you're saying that you're afraid of black neighborhoods/projects?

There are similar places in the UK which I would avoid for exactly the same reason. It's not racism and it's not fear as such; it's just a sense of self-preservation.

I wasn't criticizing his response, just asking for clarification. I basically feel the same way...and I agree that it isn't a race-based thing.

so...........how's everything in Watts?

many years ago, I was lost in South Philly - and i stopped for gas and directions way way after dark..

A very nice black man said to me - hey -- what you doin' here,, you need to get outta here?

I say - Why? just getting gas and trying to find the bridge ! He says, do you know where you are? I said no, if i knew where I was I wouldn't be lost !!!
he said follow me out of here and i did.

I wondered why people were looking at the Volvo - but I thought it was just because it was new.

the end.....

What's the meaning behind the story? That you met a nice black man in the inner city?

Kris, the whole point of a symbol is that it doesn't have one static meaning. Symbols have complex histories and their meaning varies greatly from person to person and from context to context. One person may use the Stars and Bars as a symbol for states' rights, one might use it as a symbol for rebellion against government in general, another might use it as a symbol for Southern pride (which is NOT inherently racist, no matter how much you like to say it is), and yes, some people use it as a symbol of racism. But it's not the flag itself that's racist; it's certain people who fly the flag who are racist.

Sadly, Kris has been told this time and time again in previous threads he's posted about this, and still he posts new ones because he know how riled he can make people when he does.

Or how he can expose the latent or over t racism of some of the Stormfront posters in this forum.
