Oh stop whining.

I said from the outset that creating more and more little niche boards would suck the life out of the topics. i like my homemaking mixed with my hot topics and bi-sexuals tossed in with the rest of the realtionship threads. I think it will invite a lot more participation.

This is better.

I maybe don't have the right to complain here because I am not a very active JUB user...but...I am a bit anoyed you changed the forum "bears, daddies, chubbys" to "Different Tastes". that's so silly because it is a very very wide range of interested (kinky stuff, SM, transgenders...). the kids here were always struggeling about the different tastes in men! and this will get now even stronger...the men will look for other forums...

my opinion is that either JUB don't want the "bears, daddies, chubbies" user to stay here or someone did not really think about how to improve this forum...

I totally agree. This new organization seems very disorganized to me. It doesn't make any sense to me and now I can't a majority of the forums that I used to check out on a regular basis. With this new organization, I more than likely will not be frequenting the forums any more.

I think it is interesting that over half of the comments made so far are NOT JUB supporters...( me included)

hmmmmmmmmm

I guess when we eat a free lunch day after day..it's kinda rude to complain about what is being served!!!

It may encourage people to stick around, and I find it hard to imagine anyone leaving over something as cosmetic as forum-rearrangement.

very true skywalker123. maybe I am just sad and disappointed because I lost now my daily free lunch and have to look somewhere else. what a pitty. this was a very nice and fun forum....now I have to look somewhere else...

This is nothing compared to the change-over from linkmeallover to JUB. That was a changeover that was hard to adapt to. This one's a piece of cake by comparison.

In other words, give yourself a few days to get used to it. It'll be okay.

Forum Jump at the bottom makes it just as easy to go wherever it is I want to go, so really, I don't see any difference.

So they rearranged a few things, BFD. All things change and if this new arrangement helps bring new life to the board then I'm all for it. It'll take about 15 minutes to get used to it and then you won't even remember the old layout. Time will tell if this helps or not. If it doesn't, it isn't like they can't go back to the old way or do something else again. ..| I'm happy they're doing things.

I think they'd probably die.
I doubt Obama would do that. He'd probably be too busy trying to do active right stuff to win the election. I doubt he'd care about something like this.

But what if you live in detroit. The air there isn't fresh.

What if you go away for 70 years and then come back and it's gone.

Then you lied :(

While some people are making a big deal out of this you shouldn't go around flaming others. Because then you look like a jerk. Also anger is the easiest emotion to mock.

only one last point. I don't want to disgust anyone just because I have a diffrent opinion...

I know the real life very well...and if I enter a department store I expect it organized. I want a section where I can find the things I need easily. the way JUB changed is now one big room department store. difficult to find the things I am interested...so I leave and look for another, better store. for the ordinary JUB users nothing much changed and they just got new supermarkt shelfs...they look fresh and new. usualy I support this because I like changes. but I am only interesed in one special shelf and I cannot find it here anymore.

btw....its 35 F outside and snowing....I don't need fresh air now ;-)

polarbearchaser, we basically merged two exisiting forums together. We took the bear, daddies, and chasers forum and merged it with the leather and fetish forum. We called the 2 merged forums Different Tastes. 90% of the posts were bear posts so clicking a different name doesn't change what was in the forum and posted for the last four years. It's still there and mixing in some leather posts won't really change the overall feel of the forum. If you really want to get your fix on with bears though, we have a different website called bearzone.com that you are welcome to check out.

Quit fussing at those of us who aren't as able to go w/ the flow. I just personally don't handle change very well--especially when it's so abrupt. I need a good warning first so I can adapt. Especially when I'm not the one in charge. It's unsettling to me. Those who are complaining about the new forum layout probably feel the same way.

Yes, I know that this is just an internet forum but personality types are ingrained so give us a break! I don't understand why people are depressed. I don't see how so many people can lack ambition. I don't understand why so many people seem to get their feelings hurt. We're all different people and have differen't hang ups. The change thing just happens to be one of mine.

I think the forums are fine now its better then that porn strip they had on the side of the forums

Perhaps I don't like the newest layout as much as what was there yesterday (ask me again in a week or two), but it will do.

The only suggestion I have is, perhaps, to move the JUB Regional Gatherings (or whatever it's now called) FORUM up into the area of popular Forums - definitely NOT near the very bottom where it may go unnoticed and even Forum visitors may not realize that there are JUB meets?

The JUB Gatherings Forum doesn't get the post count of other popular Forums but, on the other hand, it's all about what is rapidly becoming one of the most special aspects of this entire site, after very successful ATLANTA and ST. LOUIS meets in very recent weeks.

There are better things to whine about than JUB forums.

All the essential stuff is still on the forums.

If you are at the point where JUB ruins your day, you need to divorce the internet.
