We'll see how it plays out, but there is now real evidence that in the medical fields that practitioners are moving back to Canada (or just moving to Canada) since January of this year.

Surprisingly, this has included the Veterinary Docs as well. The emergency clinic we have been taking out stray adoptee to has four vets who have returned from working in the US because of
TrumpCo. policies and concerns about residency there.

We definitely know in the academic and research fields that there is an inflow into Canada and the feds have created a billion dollar program to bring them her and get them set up in our teaching
institutions.

So no one is flying American from Toronto to New York much any more, so they are ceding the field to Air Canada and Porter and closing down their service..

They do still have direct flights from other Canadian cities to the US...but volumes are substantially down

Since the boycott started, seven American whiskey distillers have declared bankruptcy: Luca Mariano distillery in Danville, Garrard County Distilling, Westward Distillery, Montana Distillery, Devil’s River Distillery, Old Black Button Distillery, and Kentucky Owl.

It is an export market that will never come back.

As the US abandons and fails Ukraine, Canada is stepping up.

Chrystia Freeland, the one time Minister of Everything, who famously closed the EU/Canada trade deal and then out-negotiated TrumpCo's NAFTA 2.0 flunkies has accepted the role of Economic Advisor to Ukraine.

This is only a part time posting and we wouldn't be surprised if she is tapped to help re-negotiate NAFTA 2.0 as an advisor, or, as I expect, she is now ripe to be cjosen as chancellor for a University
or at the very least, a senior lecturer in political science and economics while she writes...given her original work was in jouranlism.

Montana is in a snit. More and more, as Canadian provinces decouple from untrustworthy and predatory US powers, we are likely to hear more wahhh, wahhh from red states.

And for Montana, it wouldn't matter if TrumpCo. stepped in to steal Alberta for the US. Maybe Montana should look southward.
