The porn star Jasun, why he isn't posting ?
good post on this earlier by the user almondmilk (or something like that, I probably got it wrong) - also Jasun just needed to manage his priorities and activities, because he was keeping himself busier than even he could deal with all that well. I think more of us than not, deal with such a thing at least once in our lifetimes (in the long term, rather than something temporary).
Alley was ever so much more fun before he got 'partnered'
I suspect his needs and priorities have undergone a serious
series of modifications. Sad, but, perhaps it is his best days
that are behind him.
I prefer to think that this is so NOT true...that he's only now starting to experience his best days. He has somebody, and he's moved to a place which is more in tune with people of this sexuality. His best days, as they just get better, can be so involved and busy that maybe JUB just gets crowded out. In other words, there's no guarantee that his "best days" necessarily mean that he gets more involved in JUB rather than less, nor that he necessarily should.
I miss his posts big time, and his last-year-started relationship seems like something that can inspire us all.
Maybe not sticking around as much as I used to. And, as others have pointed out, it can seem repetitive to anyone who has been a member for years and years. At least, it seems so to me.
One thing that's changed in my behavior is that I go to the porn galleries more, while in the past I almost never did. The forums were a bigger draw than the porn.

Today, not so much...
All of us joined JUB for a simple reason...because we liked it here when we found the site. Nearly all of us maintain some "blank slate" properties even into old age, we have evolving tastes and activities, etc. For some, JUB may not be as good a "fit" as when that person originally joined, and that doesn't mean that the site necessarily got any better or worse. Our first impressions of something new tend to be what imprints on us to some degree, and for better or worse the entire JUB experience does evolve and change. (Unlike NoC, my frequency of going to the porno and galleries - almost never - hasn't changed or wavered in more than five years.)
I remember having to backtrack through pages to find updates to posts on one of my older accounts (circa 2005 or 2006 iirc). I kinda like it this way being able to catch up more easily but I can understand the fondness for the older days.
I remember that as well, back in the 2006 and 2007 era. Even in CE & P, the first fifty threads often used to be all dated within a 24 hour period, and now the same headcount of the fifty most recent threads can often go back a week or two. In HT there were usually about 100 new threads being created every day, now it's more like perhaps 35 or 40.
Somebody posted that in the rankings we're up to something like 333 or thereabouts. Of course one must realize that the 332 above us, will include some sites which are nearly entirely inactive, or have fallen off remarkably, and all sorts of sites will eventually pass those nearly-dormant sites. I think that indeed JUB has trailed off its activity, and I've long noticed what Sharkell said, but JUB hasn't trailed off nearly as quickly as some other websites, and this is still a vibrant community. I hope it stays this way!
I don't know how it can be considered "dead" or anything near that. The site is still very active.
Did those of you who think it's changed ever consider that the reason why it might not feel the same to you anymore is because you've been posting here for 5 plus years? I mean, nothing is going to seem as interesting and fun as when you first started using it. Especially after that long of a time.
Anyway, the most important thing is that I'm still here. That's all that really matters at the end of the day.
^ As he said. OK, maybe not the last part...

...but we're ALL part of this community, and validly so, including the guy who is directly on top of me here. (Does that make Sultan the top, and me the bottom? LOL)
Yes definitely he says it well. After years, almost ANY concept becomes repetitive. It's all part of human nature. Over the years, threads often become a sense of deja vu, the topics do tend to recycle every so often.
But that's a good thing, because there are always new people walking through here, and it can be hard to find a thread that's sunk to Page 317. Sometimes a thread will bring up something the reader didn't even realize he/she had a need for, and it's a rehash of a topic that made the rounds 17 months ago. It's all good.
