The only time I come close to "worship" is someone I respect completely...and that takes me years to accomplish....and even when it does happen..it is silent and they won't even know it. I like people who are wise...and profound...and have great insight...and who are kind..especially when they appear not to be....and who make a difference.....and being a humanitarian is huge plus...

Their appearance wouldn't even make it on to my list of reasons to worship anyone.

For sex..I call it lust...and I have to tell you....

I sometimes will say I don't like guys sexually who spend too much time in the mirror..and there is a reason. I had sex with alot of them...(yawn).... I think they are used to having other people like their appearance as much as they like it themselves...and if you don't "admire them"....well....the "spark" just isn't there LOL

My lust is reserved for guys who make me sweat....and growl...

...but the mirror loving boys make good friends...a lot of my friends are those guys....and they know my thoughts...

I think we are friends because they want their friends to see the person instead of the image...and I don't
care that they get to be the pretty one. In fact..I like it...

Ironically....age...and death...has taken it's toll on most of them...and everyone else...in the end it always works that way....

Worship, like many other words, doesn't have only one monolithic meaning. The phrase "muscle worship" is what we're talking about in this thread. It has nothing to do with idolatry, or assigning a religious-type meaning to somebody, etc.

dereperez, the "Torso V and Veins" (or whatever it's called) thread comes pretty darn close to what you're asking about, with still images. An ordinary one day of posts in that thread is more intense and more wonderful than the grand total of all the porn that I ever saw between the entire three years 1967 to 1969...and I was in a heavy-duty university town...and I was ACTIVELY trying to find muscle porn.

It was a different world.
