It's Time For Big Brother 8 (USA)!!! (Merged)

I don't know why you have to act as the moral compass of all African Americans, and then go and make light of gays -- on a gay message board! And it's weird, no one here is defending you at all. I don't know if you're trying to think outside the box, be edgy, whatever, or you're just stubborn and don't see that you're making fun of gay guys that don't fit your macho qualifications. It just doesn't make any sense.

First of all, Dustin DOES NOT represent gays. My comments were about DUSTIN, not gays. (reading comprehension 101).

I'm not the moral compass for anyone. But I do dislike prejudice people (including racists and racist apologists) even when they might not be attacking my racial or ethnic group (hence I'm Caucasian and like dick and don't like Dustin or Dick personally).

Again... I have mostly criticized Dustin for his behavior and gameplay with the occasional "Dustina" thrown in there. You're harping on one word for whatever personal issues you might have.

When you wake up tomorrow, I want you to reread what you wrote earlier. It is more acceptable to call your dog the N word than call a gay person the F word.

Sleep on that.

Wow. Where did you come from?!

Reading comprehension? How many times do other people, including myself, have to reconfigure our words to get our point across? We've already hit almost 2 pages of your "Dustina" comment alone.

So because Dustin said the N-word, in a non-racist context, then you deem him a racist, and you deem those of us who are trying to defend his sexuality (whilst condoning his use of the N-word) racist apologists? Are you kidding me? If Dustin were truly racist, he would not have been in an alliance with Jameka. Additionally, if he were truly racist, he probably wouldn't want to touch her, hug her, shake her hand. Also, he'd probably want to disinfect his forks and plates, assuming Jameka may have eaten off them at point or another. And he'd also want to call her the N-word, not his dog, if he were truly racist.

But you on the other hand, are fighting tooth and nail to expose Dustin, "the racist", by condoning his feminine qualities. Again, on JUB, a gay website. If you want to make your point of CBS casting stereotypical gay guys, that's great, but you're going in a way of attacking people who fit that Dustin stereotype. That's why so many of us have spoken against your "Dustina" comments because 1) it's not funny at all, and 2) this isn't the place to be expressing those comments while trying to bring down a gay guy who used a taboo word. You're cancelling your own point out.

You say you "dislike prejudice(d) people." So you dislike yourself? I'll wake up in the morning defending what I've said previously.

No, no, are you kidding me. Truly? You've been reading too much fiction. Racists are all over and don't go disinfecting everything an "undesireable" person touches. Nonsense.

Plus, all racists best friends are [insert race they hate here].

You're trying to defend Dustin's sexuality? From who? I never said anything about him liking dick because I am guilty of that as well. I made a small benign comment about his fem ways. When did my comment about Dustin's fem ways become an attack on all gays?

But you on the other hand, are fighting tooth and nail to expose Dustin, "the racist", by condoning his feminine qualities.

Yes, I was right. Your reading comprehension is lacking. Condoning? Maybe you meant condemning?

Again, on JUB, a gay website. If you want to make your point of CBS casting stereotypical gay guys, that's great, but you're going in a way of attacking people who fit that Dustin stereotype.

Again reading comprehension. I was TALKING ABOUT DUSTIN not you or any other person on this board.

That's why so many of us have spoken against your "Dustina" comments because 1) it's not funny at all, and 2) this isn't the place to be expressing those comments while trying to bring down a gay guy who used a taboo word. You're cancelling your own point out.

I'm not trying to bring anyone down. I talk about a show I really like. And sometimes talking about a show involves talking about what you don't like in the show (including the people in the show :-({|= ).

Me calling Dustin Dustina wasn't trying to be funny. It was a small side remark that you're still harping on.

I'll wake up in the morning defending what I've said previously.

Sleep on it.

Sleep on it.

Wow, I like how you take things out of context, and then you ignore other things out of convenience to either prove or disprove your point.

If you really think Dustin's racist, fine that's your opinion. I'm over arguing about it. I don't think he is. I think he used poor judgment by saying the N-word. That's all. I don't think he's racist. Saying the N-word once in a non-racist way doesn't make you racist in my opinion. Dumb? Yes. Racist? No.

I take offense to calling Dustin "Dustina" because you're basically implying that more fem gay guys are substandard. If you wanna be a cool gay gay, you have to be masculine. You're saying it's OK to mock the fruity gay guy. And it sucks for me because, although I'm not planning on undergoing a sex-change operation or anything, I can relate more to Dustin than I can to someone like Nick. If Dustin is this flaming stereotype who can't hold a candle to a butch gay guy, then what does it say for someone like me? What are you implying about me, and others like me, and others who have friends like me?

It's fine if you want to have that perspective -- that someone like Dustin is too feminine for the gay community -- it's your own opinion. And it's okay to think that Dustin is racist, even if others disagree. But I don't think it's okay to have both perspectives because you're trying to fight prejudice on one front, but you perpetuate prejudice on the other. And you do the latter on a gay website. It's like kicking sand in someone's face. And if you want to take it to a higher personal level and insult someone's intelligence, that's fine too -- it'll just make you look like a douche.

I don't want to discuss this anymore. That's all I have to say.

Yes, don't discuss this anymore but think about what you wrote.

You took a small comment I made about Dustin to heart. AND THEN defended his racist words in the same breath belittling the significance of Dustin choosing those words.

You're an ASIAN MALE, a MINORITY, and you STILL felt compelled to defend a racist.

You're backwards. Racism can be justified but perceived (falsely) anti-gay statements aren't allowed.

You should be ashamed of yourself as a minority defending a racist and downplaying his comments.

Get real.

And it's weird, no one here is defending you at all. I don't know if you're trying to think outside the box, be edgy, whatever, or you're just stubborn and don't see that you're making fun of gay guys that don't fit your macho qualifications.

i think the princess dustina comments are hilarious.

I don't know why you have to bring MY race into this. If you want to try to make your point, go ahead. We're hear to talk about the game, and we've been talking about Dustin. But don't take my race into this. It has nothing to do with it.

i think the princess dustina comments are hilarious.

LOL, thanks. I wasn't trying to be funny. It really was a small detail in the grand scheme of things.

Is it odd how these hypocrites harp on me calling Dustin "Dustina" but either ignore and or belittle Dustin using the N word? And they only seem to be offended once I call them out on being silent about Dustin's racism but yet questing me about calling him "Dustina"?

I called a spade a spade. And having an Asian poster excuse a guy's racism just because he's gay is just sickening and twisted. In good faith, I couldn't let that nonsense slide and called him out on it. He clearly has some issues about his masculinity because I think from the beginning it was clear that I was talking about Dustin but he took it all to heart.

...well, i'm glad Dustin is gone. I never heard the racial comment, but he was a very arrogant person only out for himself. He was, sadly, a very stereotypical "character". He got backstabbed - as he was doing to others, and planning to do to others in the game.

Turnabout is fairplay. Or justice. Whichever you choose.

And you're right on the mark Jy_star. That's what I have been saying about Dustin all along. I feel vindicated by the 20 million Americans watching Big Brother and by a sizable amount of gay posters here on JUB that dislike Dustin. Thanks for seeing a guy for what he is and not excusing his ugly actions just because he's gay.

And yeah he is a stereotype. That's what my beef was all along. CBS keeps putting the Marcellus' and Beau's and Will's and Bunky's on tv to get a cheap laugh on gays. That's my main issue that supersedes Dustin.

Amber seems to think that God is a genie. He has nothing better to do than wait for her next wish.

Of course if she ends up winning $10,000,000 on that game show, I'll be the first convert to the Church of Amber.

All of those drugs must have severly messed up Wamber...she is talking about visions, and how God is influencing every little move in the big brother house. I think he has better things to do.

Thank god she is gone...that fight scene between Jen and Dick was awesome, but they cut out a lot of the good stuff.

I can't believe that Jessica won again...House of Blondes! Need to get someone new into HoH.

haha random....someone posted this vid in the Josh Duhamel post in the Celebrity Forum.....look who's lounging by the pool with her girlfriends!

Cool find. It's kind of hard to concentrate on anyone but Josh in that clip. Jen's definately hanging with a better class of people though.

Eric with his nose kissed Jessica. They're all on Youtube now. Don't puke if you watch it, I warn you it's extremely graphic. **barf**

She's no looker but she can do much better than him. He even admits he's ugly all the time.

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have Eric assigned to Kiss Dick.... PLEASE It could quite possibly be the funniest thing ever.

BB just pissed me off! Why have Eric kiss someone after he has already kissed Jess?

My thought is if we make the task hard Eric may take it as a sign America is mad at him and course correct (ie use veto)

I NEVER thought of that!! Imagin if Mike and Nick were in that? I would of died too. Haha, and imagin if Joe and Dustin were still in that too. They would of poped wood.
