Another way to look at it - at every stage of my life, I have known me older than me who looked better, had more sex, and accomplished more in the community.
That should have been "known MEN older than men"... that's what I get for posting before having coffee.
Have another cup. I think you meant 'known men older than ME'.![]()
Well POO on that idea then
You refused to invite me.
Yup. I've still got it.I'll say you lie about your age. Especially considering this is the picture on your drivers licence

Why do you think sixty is over the hill?
Technically over the hill refers to passing the mid-point in your life expectancy. Currently that mid-point is considered to be the nice rounded 40. The first half of your life is the uphill climb. You study hard and work hard and supposedly, once you reach the midway point, the peak, you can start to relax and coast down the other side. It originally wasn't meant as a negative, just that life was supposed to get easier because it was all downhill from there. Sadly, those who discriminate based on age have corrupted the whole thing.
Its akin to the old question: How far can one walk into a forest? Halfway, after that you're walking out.
Life doesn't get easier with technology, it gets more difficult.
"Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege." - Author unknown
There, fixed it. It isn't aging that makes life more difficult. It all the technology. The more the re is the more most people want. It used to be you worked hard and could save along the way and were able to relax and enjoy life. But then all the advancements in technology happened, and they were supposed to make life easier, but the people that "need" them can't afford them and have to work harder just to get them. And even then they end up charging too much and have to spend the last half of their lives just paying for it. If they weren't so busy accepting the BS that they need to buy a new car every few years, or a more advanced computer with all the bells and whistles (85% of which they never use, but still pay for), they'd have a chance of putting a little more money away.
