When I first heard the song, I was thinking its cute, but its sounds like Pitbull feat. Janet Jackson. Thank god, its not gonna to be on her upcoming Lp. Its just one of those castoff songs that Rodney Jerkins happened to have done. Anyone remember Lady Gaga's "Reloaded".

I fucking loved "Make Me", the new song on her greatest hits package... the song went nowhere. Frankly, radio is completely uninterested in playing her music. They tried to give her a chance after the Superbowl incident but that album she released after "All For You" was absolute garbage. There were no radio-friendly hits on it. "All Night (Don't Stop)" went nowhere.

However I felt "Feedback" was an awesome song but radio had given up on her by then. The song barely got any airplay here. And then "Make Me" came out late last year and I thought that was going to be the one to bring her back into the charts... but nope. Radio didn't play it either.

And this song is garbage. Pitbull got lucky with "Calle Oche" and "Hotel Room Service" by ripping off other classic dance songs (ie. "75 Brasil Street" and "Push The Feeling On"). This song won't be Janet's next comeback.

Horrid. She's too old to make this absolute shit. She just needs to retire. I miss the Janet of the 80s - mid 90s.

high five! i loved "all nite (dont stop)" and couldnt understand why it wasnt successfull. that track is amazing!

as for the new song... it kinda sucks, doesnt it? also: i fucking hate pitbull.

her last single, "make me", was quite good, though. ill probably always have a weak spot for janet, no matter how obscure she gets.

AFAIK, Janet's last successful album was All for you. I think people like the smiling, happy Janet, not the dark, dominatrix, S&M Janet. I think if she goes back to the happy, cutesy Janet, she'll be fine. Look at her "Someone to call my lover' video. That's the Janet I want to see.

This is not going to be on Janets album...it's a Pitbull track.

It's a great dance track, nothing more than that. I was looking forward to it being a Janet single, but it has PITBULL's sound written all over it.

The reactions have been hilarious. Some love it, some are making a fit over Janet doing this type of music. Lighten up, its just fun! Janet is still making music.

Janet will never repeat her success of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Janet will never make the same music she used to make. If that's what you like, go listen to those albums.

I admire her and love her, always look forward to what she's doing.

Those both went #1 on Billboard Dance Chart, as did Make Me. :)

I like(d) Janet, but that was terrible. I've listened to it about five times and am still unimpressed. Generic/forgettable production, harrowingly cheesy lyrics, and raw/weak vocals. I've been to a couple different Janet forums where her fans are acting like this song is Xmas, and ranks up there with "Let's Wait Awhile" or something, but they are deluding themselves. It's banal. The only "good" thing that can be said about it is that at least it's not her usual nympho-themed material...but that's about it.

The problem is she stopped singing. She now whispers in the microphone as if its sexy. Its boring and she needs to move on fast. Its as if Renee was right about how much work he really did on her cd's.

I think the song is ok. Its for a movie... a Tyler Perry movie so I can't judge. I'm happy that I could actually hear her singing. Though I liked her last LP, you could barely make out what she was saying.
