Many, pethaps most, Jews supported the Communists and their agenda to close the churches. But they castigate the churches for not doing more to rescue them. The frear of communism was the single most important factor in bringing Hitler to power. Communism was a mortal threat to busiiness owners, property owners and churches and those groups fled to Hiler to rescue them. Then they blame the churches for not rescuing them.

I made it very clear that Hitler's anti church actions evidenced his atheistic position, knowing that Hitler's actions is proof that the objective student of history can appreciate, over any thought that a mother's choice to baptise her baby could be considered the free choice of that baby.

I'm assuming that they've always been near the top of his list.

The point is that many, perhaps most of the Jews supported the communist party which would have closed the churches had it came to power, but since then have accused the churches of not doing enough to save the Jews.

Let me say it again, that the atrocities committed by human beings, on human beings is a sad indictment on human life.

It was part of the reason, but the more immportant point is that the fear of communism was a critical factor in allowing Hitler to gain enough votes to come to power. Many, not all, Jews supported the communists and their agenda of conficating industry and land, execution of the owners, closeing the churches and executing many of the clergy. Then they blamed the churches for not saving them.

Don't know about the Gospels, but what God says in Exodus 3:14 reminds me uncannily of this musical number...
