I didn't find all of her humor funny, but she could really crack me up with her sarcasm and self deprecating humor.
While her humor was often crude and in poor taste, I have to say I was disappointed to read that Howard Stern made crude jokes about her vagina in his eulogy. Her grandson, Cooper, was there and he must only be about 10 or so and have to hear that about his grandmother.

I recently saw the Documentary she made called " A Piece of Work." It was shown on PBS. It shows what a great talent and humanitarian she was. She mentions in the documentary that she doesn't think of herself as a comedian, but as an actress playing a comedian. I thought that comment was very interesting.
