Just for fun post a non-porn pic.

Buttons, thanks for the pictures of St John's church. I'd never have guessed it's Anglican--- certainly a departure from the norm!

On to Digby but first a brief stop at New Germany. The idea of driving through Germany tickled my fancy and when we stopped I took a pic of the bridge over the river there. Not that much of interest in New Germany though the fact that it is the home of the CritterBurg-r is reason enough for it to be on the map ;) . I posted one of me outside this landmark in my gallery.

And while I was playing around with the camera trying to take a pic of the many butterflies that were flying around this caught my eye. Probably some sort of custom in New Germany ;)

Digby. Now that's a place of many delights, running out of batteries is just one of them. The other is the fact that we shared the motel with a group of bikers who were there for the annual biker weekend. They came from all over Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and P.E. Island. And they were a hoot and great fun to be around. I wish I'd taken some pics of the Harley's and other motorbikes they were riding.

At the end of the biker weekend it is customary to have a little firework display. The whole town lines up alongside the harbour and all the lights in town are dimmed so everyone can watch the pyrotechnic display.
I really enjoyed it there and would love to go back again some day.

Thanks again Buttons, and Wit you always post nice ones also. It was just nice to see Nova Scotia again

From Digby it was just a short journey along the Digby Neck to the ferry to Long Island and after that the ferry to Brier Island. Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain didn't stop us taking a cruise to see the whales in Fundy Bay.
