Hi Dynk, Fancy some whale?

I wish i could have gotten better pics of the whale(s) in Fundy bay, but with the rocking of the boat, the excitement of actually seeing one, and the drizzling rain. After a while I just stopped taking pics and enjoyed it. I also know that it's something I want to do again if I ever get the chance.

This fellow's name is Scream, a humpback whale, he was busy feeding when we met him and at one time came up just beside the boat after feeding down below.
When they come up for air is another experience I'll never forget. Speak of bad breath! lol Actually it's not that bad but getting sprayed with fish bits isn't very pleasant.

After a while Scream went under and stayed there for a while and we went in search of another. Here's one slapping it's fin on the water. Nobody knows why they do it but it's great to watch

I've seen Dolphins out in the ocean before, but to see a Whale!! Jeeebus, that must have been a wicked experience!!

If you ever get the chance to do it, my advice is go and the same goes for dolphins. We saw those as well but they were too fast to take pics of.
I did however see dolphins feeding near Inismore Island 4 years ago, now that was amazing. To see them in the wild doing what's natural is something I'll never forget

I loved all the lighthouses and could have travelled from one lighthouse to the next if I had had the time. Especially on this journey, they acted like emotional beacons, taking me nearer and nearer to Quebec.

And my journey through Nova Scotia is coming to and end. The next pictures were taken on our way back from Brier Island and the whales at Fundy Bay when we stopped off at Falling Rock on Long Island.

The trail to falling rock was very much like most of the trail we hiked along. Gravel path and very well maintained. I do have to hand it to the Canadians. They really look after their country and the sights I've seen so far. It does however take something out of the adventure...

Seeing Asters growing in the wild never seized to amaze me. Here it is a garden plant, there it grew almost anywhere and in all kinds of conditions.

This week Cape Town's V&A Waterfront was sold by SA Transet to a British/Dubai consortium for $1 billion (US).
