That awkward moment when a friend of a friend on Facebook sends you flirtatious messages and pics asking you to be her valentine. :? I simply replied "Uh, Miss, I'm Gay." She said "Oh, sorry, what a shame." I guess I should be flattered.

At least she didn't keep hitting on you anyway; that happened to a friend of mine. He said it was very awkward.
Or, at least she didn't say something like "You're only gay because you haven't been with the right woman yet", something which I was told by some floozy at the bar.

There are companies where I wonder how they stay in business.

We have been trying to get Internet from a company for almost two weeks. Two cancelled installation appointments, without anyone calling us to inform us. We had to call them, where no one knew how to bring up our account and one guy was saying we owed 400 dollars even though we don't even have an installation yet. Each time our installation was cancelled we were on the phone for at least an hour before we can get someone that could actually help us to find out what was happening.

Their phone service works as so, if you are on hold for a long period of time, which we were multiple times, it boots you back to the beginning where you have to put your account information. This is so the person helping you can move on to the next person, this is what a Supervisor told us. This is one of the dumbest systems I have ever heard of.

Also it took this supervisor, 2 of his coworkers and his boss to "fix" our order on Thursday so we could have them come yesterday. Which they never did anyway.

We were talking to someone yesterday but again it took multiple calls and then when we got to someone who knew what they were doing it was taking him at least an hour of doing what he was doing, while we were on hold most of the time. We eventually hung up because we were tired of it.

Unfortunately I don't even know when we will have Internet because apparently all the companies around here are shit.

Omg.

I love Sundays. One of the reasons we originally got a weekend place out in the country was to escape from the always open.

When we moved from Toronto for good...I never looked back with regret on no longer having a string of restaurant brunches, shopping or other diversions.

One day of peace. To read. To think. To listen to music. To cook or bake.

Be glad of the peace.

I live in a super conservative town. The only thing open are churches until 1pm.
