Funny you say that.It was so sunny....I took 2 tea bags and put them inside a bottle of spring water and put them in/on the window sill for only one hour.Was the most delicious non tannin tasting sun tea.

I was born with light sensitive eyes. Although, I do prefer the night to day time. Maybe I am a Vamp. I used to drink lots of Sun tea growing up. It is actually really good.

I've decided I dislike trying to do closet storage. I've obv. no idea what common sense and/or intellectual deficiency struck the architect of said aforementioned closet, but it's about....I'd say between 7 and 8 inches in depth. They could've left the wall well enough alone and saved money.

I just ate out for the first time in ages. Ate half a portion of a "lunch" meal (i.e. half a dinner meal) so that I could box the leftovers and enjoy tomorrow.

I left the damn box on the table. Tears welled in my eyes as I ran back to the restaurant, and I about died when my waitress said she had just tossed it.

Got to eat like a high roller for one night and now I have to pay for it for a week.

Decided to take a nap before next day a work and I try not to do that because of not getting enough sleep before work. Just got a message that they need me earlier, at 2am. Guess I am taking another small nap or staying up altogether.

I am sad today.

I wasn't feeling great anyway and today I had a tooth pulled. But not just any old tooth.

One of my back molars. And it wouldn't be such a big deal if I hadn't just spent a few thousand dollars having a root canal and crown.

The extraction went better than I had thought (so far). It didn't require cutting out of roots.

And it will hopefully make the eye crossing pain of the last eight weeks finally go away.

And I'm not even sad that after all this that my dentist then charged me another $300 to fix a failed attempt.

I am sad because I have lost confidence in my dentist. Who is a lovely young man. Who I really enjoyed.

I am sad because I think he knew early on that the chance of success was really low. I am sad that at the point that he was installing the crown, I think that he and his assistant knew at the time that they were installing the gold crown that the root canal was not successful but didn't tell me then.

I am sad that then he tried to justify that the whole thing had been a 'Hail Mary' attempt to save the tooth.

I am sad because I don't think that I will ever have confidence in him again. It was bad enough that while I was lying there while they were drilling the crown and the tooth into little bits to remove it that it made me tar up because of this loss of faith and his apology at the end didn't make me feel better.

Made cookies, less than 2 dozen, turns out the little fuckers are addicting when they're fresh. They were jam, and I'm surprised jam cookies aren't more popular. Meanwhile there's a green tea cookie that I can't seem to enjoy by itself, it desperately needs milk, which'll hopefully bring praise cuz I suspect I have to sit through a plate of them later. But bread might be in the making, so not a bad tradeoff tastebud-wise. (We each make a new dessert every 2 weeks or so because, well. There's been a firm promise of homemade bread, but green tea cookie critiques come first.) God, I hope milk helps.
