Kevin Spacey Charged With Felony Sexual Assault

I wouldn't trust the mother further than I could throw her. She knew what she was deleting, which was obviously damning to the prosecution, and yet she still supported the allegation going forward.

Do I think Spacey is some paragon? Probably not.

Do I think the alleged victim was a victim in fact? Even more probably not. Almost everything points to this being a gold digger case.

I'm glad the judge stood firm and threw it out. Most shameful behavior and lame excuses from the plaintiff.
 
An 18 year old should have the balls to punch a dude who does the bad touch. But, mommy will take care of it!
 
He's still being investigated in California, charges may result.

I'm most suspicious of the allegation. The fact that his phone had damning content implies that his character, or the evolution of the incident with Spacey, was other than alleged.

The whole idea of "gee, he stuck his hand in my pants, I better tape this" is pretty strange.
 
It only helps prove Spacey's innocence in this.

Even if we indulge the complaints, then I'm sexually assaulted every weekend that I go to nightclubs, whether in male or drag form.

I'm not going to court over it, oh come on! It's one of the reasons I go to gay nightclubs! I WANT to be felt up! And it perfectly obvious to everyone else that looks that it is consensual. No one MAKES me lie back in someone's lap so that they can put their hands up my dress, or down my zipper, to hand job me.
 
Even if he did make a pass or whatever with this guy, Big Fucking Deal. Insane.
 
That the accuser plead the 5th to altering cell phone records is telling whether or not it was cause to dismiss the case.
The upside is if a jury heard the testimony there is no way they can dismiss what they heard regardless that the judge told them to disregard it.

I can't imagine under what definition battery applies to being an adult who was groped....... #-o
 
I don't think there was a trial yet. This seemed to be a hearing before a judge. I may have gotten it wrong, but it seemed like this was part of pre-trial motions and preliminary to proceeding to trial.
 
everyone knows he likes young guys---and will eventually get in trouble ---but this was in a public place come on----- American society has to stop coddling 18 year olds who are legal adults ---in Europe its 16 which is something we should do here, maybe Spacey should have stayed over there---making victims out of everyone here in the USA is not good for their psyche or for our society .
 
Couldn't agree more. My first thought on reading about this contrived "abuse" was "Grow up!"
