It is safe to say Edge Of Glory will not last that long (I personally love the song).
I want to know what her next move is, "Marry the Night"? I think it is the last true radio song she has on her album, not that any of her previous singles are radio songs
It is either that or Hair and Hair is not a "Fresh" track (She has performed it a gazillion time and released it as a promo single) so there will be no "Oh my GOSH I LOVE THIS SONG" when/if she releases it, it will be "Oh yeah, I liked that track"
I could be wrong, "E.T" came out last summer and was used as a single four months ago. (But Katy never promoted it until the release).
Plus, Katy Perry does not promote albums, she promotes singles.
I just want to see how long she can ride Born this Way. I am loving the entire album especially "The Queen" "Electric Chapel" "Fashion of his love" and "Schiebe"

She opened with the biggest sales week since 2005, no one expected it to sell 100,000s for weeks to come, you seem pretty pressed. How do you explain her outselling Britney and Katy. If I'm gonna buy into your logic they are both white and aren't selling as many albums with more hit singles on their albums. How do you explain that?

Adele sold 100,000 copies THIS WEEK and her album is 6 MONTHS OLD. Gaga is on her third single, FOURTH WEEK and sold 68,000 copies.
AND Adele doesn't make pop music.

People are still finding out about Adele and her type of music has a much more broad appeal, I don't see why its a big deal if her album is selling better than Gaga's. It's comparing an apple to an ice truck. I love them both and I'm happy both are having huge success.

i definitely see that the public aren't liking this as much as her other stuff; but that's what happens when you take risks and it comes with being the most popular celebrity in the world

Like "No way" and "Second time around" my two fav Gaga tracks of all time.
Oh and this Rihanna hate is laughable. She is Def Jam's last hope and it is a good hope because she destroys the charts all around the world.
Loud has been a huge success for her.

Adele's music appeals to people of all ages, she has effectively taken over the adult contemporary market, ask Coldplay and John Mayer about how successful that will make you.
Rolling in the Deep having a slight disco influence has managed to crack the pop charts helping her appeal with the teen crowd.
Her country influenced music helped her crack into the country music demographic which is also extremely lucrative.
Not to mention Adele is extremely non controversial she has the right set up to make her appeal work across the board.

Sky Ferreira is the future of pop to me, she is INCREDIBLE! I even managed to get my hands on a signed AS IF! EP from her. I haven't heard all of those but I'll get straight to youtube, Elevator is already one of my favorites.

it sucks. i was kind of hoping she'd save a NY scene for a MTN video. but TEOG stole it
oh well. i guess that would've been too obvious for MTN xD
i think, honestly, the next single should be americano. it SHOUTS summer, in my opinion. and it could continue the paparazzi telephone saga
and then scheisse should be released after that with an uproar of a video.
and then MAYBE a single in between. but if not, it should end with MTN. good way to close the album. that'd be 6-7 singles, which i'm ok with because other than those songs and hair (and HML, actually). well, those are the only 8 songs i could see doing well on the charts. as amazing as the other songs are, they're not single worthy, i don't think.
