Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

Unless things have changed, I thought prostitution was illegal in Nevada but Las Vegas has always bent the rules. The brothels even advertise in the newspaper! But, I've never seen male advertisements.

Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

It is legal in Nevada depending on the population of the county. Las Vegas's population is to high to allow it but you dont have to travel far to find a legal brotherl.

Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

Came across something interesting this morning which raises some issues.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Nev-brothel-aims-to-offer-1st-apf-555381294.html?x=0&.v=2

Basically I think Nevada has been discriminating all along by buying the line that brothels are basically straight houses where women solicit men. They say it's because of health reasons they don't have it but what do you all think and if male prostitution became legal would you go to one?

This is really a political issue probably????

"...Flint said he feared the idea of male prostitutes serving male clients could spur a legislative backlash. He said he works to make the brothel industry socially acceptable to both libertarians and conservatives..."

I love the last line of the article:

"We don't know how to structure the men's pricing yet," Davis said.

LOL

(300 bucks an hour would be a start...)

Easy, anyone can charge what ever price they like.

From one dollar to $1,000,000 who ever want to pay.

Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

Prostitution is illegal in Nevada, its only legal in the area the Moon Light Bunny Ranch is in. A gay male brothel would be profitable, however its taboo and there is the stigma that disease would be more rampant .

Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

The first time I went to Vegas, I was shocked at just how brazen all the prostitutes were...

I mean, I knew it was Vegas, but I naively thought you had to go looking for them. Ha. They walk right up to you. Especially if you are sitting in a bar alone in one of the more upscale casinos.

Mostly women, but a couple of men, too "hit" on me.

At first it was kinda funny, but by the end of the trip it was just annoying. And all this right in front of police and security guards who knew damned well what was going on right in front of them.

Re: Male Prostitution in Vegas?

Sweet, I'm gonna apply to work on that ranch as one of the first legal male prostitutes EVER. Who's with me?!?

Hmm, how much money do you think I could make?

Is male prostitution LEGAL?

You see it all the time in movies. Some guy in his car drives by a sidewalk and picks up a male prostitute. "Hey, need a ride? *wink wink*"

Does this happen in real life? Is male prostitution legal? If not, then are there really discreet male prostis out there walking at night looking for customers? How would one know?

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

No it is not legal in the USA outside of a small part of Nevada.

Of course it happens in real life and people are arrested everyday as well!

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

Well, there are countries in the world where it is legal.

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

After his bitter friend went through the ugly divorce with the subsequent alimony and child support judgements his friend confided in Lefty that marriage is legalized and sanctified male prostitution.

Lawyers were scum sucking whores that so frightened vast numbers of men that they continued one on one maintenance of their personal brothels aka the family home.

Lefty feels that his friends opinion was somewhat biased but consoled him anyway.

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

male prostitute = male escort = male stripper = porn model

male escort is legal here. Is escort legal in the US ?

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

What is the difference between an escort and a prostitute?

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

Well, here in the states prostitutes are cheaperd, lower overhead and more competition on the corners and in the alleys.

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

No, it's not. but maybe over there

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

Technically escort service does not include sexual activities. If the escorts choose to provide that extra service while on with a client, that is between them. That's how they protect themselves from anti-prostitution laws.

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

Truth is escorts are not there por protection.

They are there as guides.

They serve to lead you into or not into temptation at a price.

Prostitutes have already led you and now its time to determine the price.

That has always been an International Law of Basic Economics.

By the way Drebin..it is far more fun to "work your ass off" making movies
than it is to try and laugh it off merely watching them....

That is really so (!w!)..|

Re: Is male prostitution LEGAL?

In the UK, prostitution isn't illegal. It's soliciting which is against the law. A fine distinction I know, but a distinction nevertheless.

There's no difference in law between male and female prostitutes.
