That video is fake. Unless you somehow believe that Nicki got fat since her high school yearbook picture, got stung by a bee, and sounds like a little boy, while talking on the cell with some woman is somehow supposed to be legit.

Edit: Oh yeah, that butch video that's supposedly Nick, it isn't her. That chick in that view looks nothing like Onika when she attended high school. Look at the year book picture and watch the view. And if you think it's her just because of the voice, a lot of people in that area of New York City (and other parts) sound like that >.> And if some there's a possibility that it IS her... why the sudden change? Why stop wearing hoodies, chasing other females, and inspire to become this entertainer. Just doesn't correlate or add up.

It means she's not going to be a supporting character, she's going to be the character and compete with all rappers, not just women :rolleyes: See, I told ya Nicki goes through slow people's heads. Obviously, Kim is easier to understand when she says she takes it up the butt.

Quoted for truth. I'm not much of a rap fan (I love my divas) but this is utterly disturbing to me...why are people even considering this girl (Nicki) a legitimate rap artist? For what it's worth I am on Team Kim...but that's not saying much. Do I think Nicki is a knock-off Lil Kim? Hell yes. But who exactly is Lil Kim? Someone more known for her sexuality that her actual rap ability (although I do enjoy a few of Kim's song, they're nothing more than fluff to be completely honest).

I think there's more pressing things to worry about...like how the hell we are going to get rid of the entire Young Money crew.

If you listen to Kim's recent interview with Angie Martinez, she talks about music not really being her focus, and that her next step is on "entrepreneurship" :rolleyes: She's really alienating herself trying to build hype by biting on Nicki.

I like Britney, she's got the right people around her, she's a good puppet for fun songs. Gaga has a lot to prove. Her whole concept is beyond music, her music isn't really that great. I like Poker Face, but RedOne is starting to sound dated like Pharrell. Gaga's discography isn't groundbreaking, her big deal is how wacky she is.

BTW, I can't get enough of that bluffin muffin line, it reminds me of Nicki Minaj (!)
 
It's real simple to me: Nicki's entire image is copied and pasted from Lil Kim's early stuff.

Kim's gimmick was not being a "barbie" everywhere she went. Nicki's is. She's always in a colorful wig to match the colorful personality. Kim wasn't like that. In fact, I don't think I remember Kim doing interviews and whatnot in random colorful wigs all the time. . . if she did please link me to the video footage.


This is why I say new and improved. Nicki has taken the "barbie" thing to another level.

Lol @ same raps. They rap NOTHING alike. The style, flow, and the content is all different.


Obviously Nicki's image was influenced by Kimberly, but Kims image was more sexed-up than dolled-up.
 
Oh yeah. You are right. They rap nothing alike. Kim has better flows and doesn't resort to an idiotic gimmick to put over her raps.
