This will make him all the more popular with the far right and antagonize them to turn out in droves for the mid-terms and in 2024.

Prison, maybe not, but the likelihood of him escaping some level of charges just decreased exponentially. You of all people here are probably aware of our feds' conviction rate.

If the people pulling his puppet strings are smart they'll start advising him to cooperate, but if he listened to his advisors he wouldn't have tried to stage an insurrection in front of the whole country
