In Mod Tower on another site, somebody posted a link in reference to something we were discussing. The person posting it said, "This is what he's talking about. It's pretty wretched and disgusting, just so you know. I wish I hadn't read it." Then he went on to discuss the topic at hand.
I think 80-85% of the other mods followed the link, read up on it...and posted "Ugh, yeah, that's horrible. Why did I other reading that link?" One after the other. There was really no reason to read that link - it wasn't truly necessary for the discussion at hand. But even after six, seven, eight people had posted about following the link and regretting it...people kept clicking it. And posting about how they wished they hadn't.
Finally, I asked. "OK, why did all of you click the link?"
And they all answered the same way. "Well, why wouldn't I?"
I apparently don't have a morbid curiosity. Not just about death or whatnot. Still haven't seen 2 Girls 1 Cup, for instance.
I heard "it's gross", so I didn't watch it. Nor do I want to see celebrity sex tapes, or things like that. Just no interest. But I've accepted I'm in the (vast) minority when it comes to this sort of thing.

I haven't read all the posts above on the last two pages, and maybe some members have already enlightened this matter before. But, despite of the fact that LK is most likely a criminal killer & psychopath:
1.) Mr. Magnotta is not the husband of Karla Homolka.
2.) More than 99,8 % of all those online "facts" & "informations" you find about Magnotta alias Eric Clinton Newman alias... in the net, is based on unverified contributions of Magnotta himself. In the past three years, he has developed a habit of posting "personal informations" under different aliases on countless sides. And many readers are spreading these rumours unchecked & naively around.
Focus on the statements of some serious journalists and try to separate the wheat from the chaff...

Since he is still uncaptured, and since Magnotta's main hobby is to create new online accounts every day, reporting about his own case, I would not be surprised if darknight is one of his 5000plus accounts worldwide...

There is a reason why most LE officers are asked to create intel reports whenever animals are found tortured or killed in less than euthanasia manners. Same goes for a few other things. It is because there is a very high relation between those acts and the beginning of other more disturbing pursuits.

What the hell is wrong with this guy? Apparently, he's a gay model/porn actor who posted a video online of him killing and dismembering a Chinese man, proceeding to have sex with the decapitated, armless body, and if that wasn't enough, he cuts a piece of the man's buttocks and eats it, before setting his dog loose to consume more flesh.
I also hear that the video is a contender for next year's Academy Award for best live action short film.

I remember there being huge media coverage of the investigation and trial, but I was much younger and didn't fully know what was going on. I remember my Mom watching the news about it a lot though. Mind you at the time I was only 2 hours away from where it happened, and now I live in that city, so local newspapers and radio stations were more apt to pick it up.
