Sorry, Soil but you're not getting the last word quite yet ;) I can't believe I missed this thread before. Anyways, coming from an AI fan who liked Mandisa, I was never personally offended by the comment she made, that's just what she believes and I'm not gonna lose any sleep trying to get her to think differently. I don't need Mandisa's acceptance to continue living my life. People overreacted way too much about it and it was taken completely out of context, she even expressed that that wasn't what she meant when she said it. Just my thoughts on the subject.
 
well guys, we must understand that some people hate, or dislike gays. Or that being gay is a sin so they dont want to be involved. It's silly (at least for me) but i think it's her right to believe anything she wants. At least she is not offensive

It's OK for her to be fat in my eyes... I don't care... I really don't.

My point was that she was using the bible to attack other people when she obviosuly wasn't following it rule by rule either...

Her Hypocrisy was that she was asking ME to follow a set of rules that she herself doesn't follow.

OK... I don't care if she's fat, I dont' care if she can sing and I'd rather deep fry my face than have to watch American Idol.



Although this is the thread where we first got the term "Jasunites", so I'm proud of THAT at least.

Well this is a public forum, so I'm gonna say what I want, when I want. I understand your point and it's valid I just wish you would see where I and the others who shared my point of view are coming from as well. Just because the rest of JUB thinks your God doesn't mean I have to get down on my knees and worship everything you say.
