That whole "gods love, hate the sin love the sinner, judge not lest ye be judged" thing must come with so many rules and regulations that it's impossible to see who really is able to gain it, seeing as how it seems no one really abides by any of the silly rules but instead see themselves as the ruler.

I'm not surprised at all. Some of the most deeply unpleasant people I've ever met have claimed to be Christian.

In that quote if you replace the word god with the word me, it makes more sense.

Same here. I know quite a few people who are rabid know-it-alls, judgmental, condemning of others, arrogant and have many other unsavory personality traits. But they also claim to be enthusiastic Christians who "love the Lord" and "have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior".

Too bad they don't follow what their Lord taught them to do.
 
I think the young man is handling it very well. He just wants to be left alone to do his job and appreciate that he doesn't want to turn this into his 15 minutes.
