You don't show any evidence of understanding the concept. The moment we had a prison ion US soil that held "enemy combatants" indefinitely, it would be but a short step to hold Americans indefinitely by accusing them of being enemy combatants.

I still like the idea of taking a WW II aircraft carrier (if we have any) out of mothballs and making a temporary floating prison just so the Gitmo operation can be shut down -- but there would have to be a plan in place to end the thing.

That is quite silly. We have spent huge amounts making gitmo into a prison, and would have to spend many times that refitting a ship and maintaining. To no end. The ship would be the same kind of precedent, if you want to call it that. as gitmo.

More lying with truth.

The true part is "11 million". The lie is "dump [them] into the labor market". They're already in the labor market.

Meanwhile, Obama's administration has done more to keep illegals out than the prior several administrations.

And there are no proposals to "rush" anyone "to citizenship", except those who are already Americans because they know no other country... kinda like the Founding Fathers.

The illegals are not legally in the labor market, but will now be able to compete for better jobs, against the backs and other poor Americans. Job for them is not a priority, it is hardly on the Democrat agenda. The democrats already have the black votes, no need to care about the.
