The 2012 Democratic Party Platform mentions “jobs” 77 times – and those references are pro-job-creation. The 2012 Republican Party Platform mentions “jobs” only 45 times.

Only actual number I can find is Pew's eight million, which has been posted on JUB before. It's pretty much a guestimation game, since some people think there are actually fifteen to twenty million illegals here.

Thanks! That study is from 2010, but is probably a reasonable estimate.

As with the population total, the number of unauthorized immigrants in the labor force had decreased in 2009 from its peak of 8.4 million in 2007. They made up 5.2% of the labor force in 2010.

Snowden would probably be in Venezuela now - subject to extraction by the US or our subcontractors, the Israelis - had the US not made it very clear to Cuba that it should deny him transit passage. The US is gearing up for the end of Snowden's one year asylum in Russia.
