Don't worry, the main stream media will go back to fully supporting Obama and his men. There will be no special prosecutor, there will be just a few news organizations that will follow the scandals, but they will get tired too.

Obama, Holder, and all the others will go free. The press is very close to becoming intimidated to cover anything except what the Administration wants.

I've never supported Bush 100% -- I was very pissed that he didn't build up the military in Iraq earlier, the war would have been over sooner and more support would have been available for Afghanistan ending that war sooner also.

However, I see very few people here who are open to even discussing matters.

They want to talk semantics.

No Sir, from what I see many of you want to talk about personalities, and partisan politics, and who's cat shit in the sandbox.

I live in what is now a Red State.

My family has been here since before the Republic of Texas.

I've seen a State Representative run as a Democrat from West Texas (the geographical area), run as a Republican to become the longest serving Governor (Republican or otherwise) in the History of Texas.

He started out with an income that was around $30,000 a year, and now he's a multi-millionare and a Republican.

What am I trying to say here?

Once you get elected on a State or National Level, you no longer serve or represent "the people."

At least if you want to get re-elected.

And in my personal opinion?

Republicans would toss their own mothers under a bus, grab their own new born babies and toss them into a pig trough for feed, just so long as they might be able to hold on to any political power that they can get their hands on.

Democrats here in Texas are either to stupid to know the difference, or too naive which explains why they haven't won a Statewide Election since 1992.

But apparently you're one of the "low information voters" that just eats this shit up!

Did I mention to you that I'm from Texas?

That more than 85% of my family lives and breaths politics based upon what they hear on Fox News, and "Talk Radio" everyday?

I'd rather be a "run of the mill liberal" than what you are -- someone unable to see beyond his own prejudices.

But I don't know of any "run of the mill liberal" who would step into a protest demanding that parents of anchor babies be handed citizenship and challenge them to explain how carrying Mexican flags in a protest in the U.S. is not some sort of treason, especially since part of the group was carrying "Cascadia" signs... indicating allegiance to a movement advocating secession from the US.

Nor do I know of any "run of the mill liberal" types who would wear his NRA LIFE MEMBER cap right into the middle of a group of people applauding an anti-hunting speaker...

nor who would interrupt a speaker at a rally against the war in Afghanistan to assert the claim that self-defense includes going after the perpetrators once they've fled the scene...

or who would stand in front of a grocery store helping a petition signature gatherer, no charge, getting people to sign a petition asking for a law to require proof of citizenship or legal residence in order to get a job....
