An interesting thing that undercuts the Administration's defense is that apparently the CIA had requested the AP hold on releasing the story until the national security concerns regarding how we operated in that Yemen action had passed. They did hold the story, until they discovered the White House was going to disclose this news the next day to trumpet its own national security strengths( a number of leaks had actually been suspected as coming from Administration sources bolstering its foreign policy credentials, if it's to be remembered correctly anyway). They were pissed at the AP for daring to scoop what they were about to trumpet(releasing sensitive information selectively, of course). And as for the laughable claims of DJ chief Eric Holder that he had recused himself , but just had no written proof he did..... basically at best what we have is an intensely political, partisan Administration that is awash in the mud of crony capitalism and political cynicism. Much like Bill Clinton's, but at least he had some real skills as a political leader understanding governing requires hard work and the willingness to deal with others as grown ups on occasion.
