Who's Watching the Oscars Tomorrow?

I'll be glued to the tv tomorrow for the broadcast of the Academy Awards. I've seen most of the pictures nominated. I'm really hoping King's Speech wins Best Picture. I also thought Black Swan was outstanding!

Anyone have any Oscars stories? For those who live in LA, did you ever watch the stars entering the theater on Oscar night?

I've watched it without fail for over a decade!

This despite the fact that in the U.K. it's on from about 2am till 6am.

(my wierd sleeping patterns help me for once)

To me, award shows are kind of meaningless. I can understand industry people caring about them, but the general public? In my mind, they are about industry people celebrating eachother. At best, I have a vague curiosity.

Probably watch it for Franco only. Who is the other co-host? A female right? Already irrelevant to me.

The Oscars could go either two ways: go back to its asshole-y ways and pick The King's Speech for everything or go back its asshole-y ways but try to appear a little less predictable and pick the Social Network.

She is the female counterpart to Franco. Anne Hathaway. One of most in-demand leading actresses in Hollywood right now.

I know what you mean. I will be busy undressing him with my eyes.

But Anne isn't too shabby for a girl. And she has been cast as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

She's a good, funny actress. I like her the Devil wears Prada. Seriously, I don't understand why they want to bring Catwoman into the picture. Ra's al Ghul is rumored to be the main villain again in the third installment. Anne should be like Batman's love interest or something-- but Catwoman? -- really now?

Hey, me too
I'm in Denmark so it's an hour later for me, 3am - 7am, but regardless of when I need to get up the next day it's one of those once a year traditions that I just can't skip.

Hey you guys, what about time-shifting? Having them record while you sleep?

But me...no, I don't think I'm a-gonna watch 'em, nope...

I will be watching, but unfortunately I still haven't watched either of the movies. I'll be watching two or three of them tomorrow before the show.

The main reason i will be tuning in is to see James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosting! Especially James Franco! Despite his obvious good looks, I've been a fan of his for quite some time!

Nah, I watched it once and was bored to tears. I'll read about the winners the next day. I'm really only concerned with Inception, Toy Story 3, and Black Swan anyway.

I usually like watching the Grammy's and the VMA's because they have performances...The movie awards shows don't usually keep my interest. I think I'll probably pass.
