Exactly. The difference between the music award shows and the Oscars is that the music people realize award shows are boring as hell without some entertainment thrown into the mix.

I will be, it's a tradition. But it's on from about midday here when I'm at work and so I need a media blackout until the show is broadcast on free to air around 9.00 pm. Can't stand to know the winners beforehand! I don't have pay TV and so need to rely on F2A.

The show is generally boring as hell but a tradition is a tradition!! :)

If I have time, I'll tune in otherwise I'll just google a list of the winners. By the time it's broadcasted in Australia the whole event is finished anyway.

i will DVR it and then fast forward thru most of it stopping on the parts i want to see- i love fast forwarding thru the musical numbers and boring speeches!

We will either watch CSI Miami or a DVD. My bf and I have no desire to watch a popularity contest on tv.

I wasn't going to, but with the saturation of james Franco and Anne Hathaway on every media outlet conceivable for the past several dates, I keep looking at Franco and thinking of what a hottie he is...

So I will probably watch it just for him...:D

I plan to skip over them as usual... The only award show I usually watch is the VMA's to see who is the fuck up of the night.:lol: And some performances.

I turn it on about the time when they're giving the award for Best Picture which is at the end of the show.

My usual routine is that I'll think, maybe this year I'll skip it. I always give in and then ask myself why I wasted all the time. I may catch the last hour. However, James Franco really is hot! :D

I ended up watching about half the program. I thought the production was pretty slick. It only went over about ten minutes. James Franco is still hot. However, the best part was at the end, where a grade school choir from P.S. 22 of Staten Island N.Y. sung an excellent rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Sniff, Sniff. As one would say in the U.K. good show! :=D:

I will lose my gay card...but I've never watched more than 5 mins of a GOlden Girls episode. It just doesn't do a thing for me.
