Official Heroes Season 2 part 1 thread

I hated Milo in "Gilmore Girls", and only started to warm to him last season, but this season with the new bod and new arsenal of powers he is beyond hot! Love the love story of Mohinder and TeleCop. They are too cute shacking up with their adopted daughter. Maya and her brother are more annoying each episode. Killing is not terribly heroic, regardless of how creepy the victims might have been. And couldn't Maya have waited long enough for her brother to experience some jail sex? I guess we'll see that now that they're traveling with trhe guy, though, this being "Heroes', he'll fall for Maya or something. DL dead? Dang! I liked him, and I find Jessica/Nikki more annoying as time goes on. LOVED Claire's trip with West! He's got potential! And why we have to be subjected to more Sylar I have no idea. Waste of space. I saw the killing coming a mile away, but I held out hope that for once he'd get fooled, and find that his attack on 'Candice' had actually been an illusion. Sadly, the writers went for predictable.

Firstly, I think the theory of the eight paintings showing the deaths of the Company founders is officially kiboshed, considering the unveiling of the subject of the eight picture.

I enjoyed tonight's episode but it felt like a bit of filler to me. Nothing major happened other than seeing that Sylar has lost all of his powers and that DL is dead.

It's not "filler" it is set-up.
Tonight was about a pinch of backstory, a dash of teasing and the rest was set-up.

I'm not sure how the Hiro in the past story line is going to:
a) go over
b) mesh with the present

For those of you worried about Nikki, I wouldn't. As someone mentioned, Jessica will have plenty to say about being "cured." I'm sure she'll ride out this season at the very least.

The Claire and West love story started much sooner than I expected. But I'm okay with that, we get to see more of Fly Boy V2.0.

i was really hoping that sylar would have died at the end of the first season. without a doubt he was fun to hate as good villains are but he's worn out his welcome.

is it odd that the two (three if you count peter) flyboys are all sort of kal-el/mon-el/superman-ish? or is it just me?

I find Maya so hilarious. She kills but then gives this innocent face like she doesnt know what happened. She cracked me up tonight. And the way people just drop dead LOL

Alejandro is an automatic healer so he isnt affected. He has faster healing powers than Kensie.

I dont think its a healing power, I think its more of a containment power, that is why they need to be together at all times..Without him she can "poison" or "disease" the person, but with him she cant, hence the containment..

I was just gonna write that. I think he's like a containment field for her toxin. I wonder if this guy from 1619,or whatever year, is a relation to Claire? Maybe Hiro accidently infected people by going back to the past and this guy is a decedent of Claires? But is the little guy killing people Peter? Maybe he split in two somehow? He is so short that it has to be him. I wanna find him hot but the height thing ruins it for me. He is really a small man. But anyway, my theories are probably wrong. I never guess right in t.v. shows.

Weakest episode of the season so far, but had a good setup for future storylines. I'm still not sold on Candice actually dieing, Sylar not having her powers makes me think she may have fooled him and still is trying to mess with his head. I must say though it kinda sucks I was starting to like Michelle and she gets killed, and during the last part of the first season I was really hoping Nikki/Jessica or Hanna would kill her in a very violent way.

I think I can safely say that very few if any of us expected that from the 8th painting. I was extremely annoyed by West in the first 2 eps., but he just got interesting, and I'm looking forward to how the West, Claire, Bennett storyline will develop.

Random thoughts include how I love Peter, but really want his Ireland story to be over and for him to get back to his backstabbing super powered family. Matt and Mohinder's first fight was really cute. There’re all domestic now have the complete family. Lastly add me to the list that really doesn't want HRG to die.

^ I'm disappointed Michelle died so early in the season but she is really dead. Notice how fat she was when Sylar was looking over her body? In the first season, she said she was overweight. So the fact that she was dead on the ground, overweight, proves she really is dead.

Whoa, just noticed there was a topic on Heroes. I agree, this episode was little weak.

I hate that Peter doesn't remember a thing about his past, and that he decided not to open the box.

I think West is hot, but I don't like how quickly Claire fell for him. I still kinda see him as a creepy stalker. But I did feel bad for him when mentioned his encounter with Noah.

I'm glad Sylar is back. I liked him as a villain. Am I the only who got sad when he couldn't move that cup? I liked Candice, but I don't really care that she died. If Sylar got her power, he could do a lot of damage with it.

I really hope DL isn't dead. I mean, Peter and Nathan survive an atomic explosion, Sylar survives getting stabbed by a sword, and Matt gets shot 5 times, but DL is the one that dies with one bullet wound!?

I'm really not interested in Maya and Alejandro's story. It seems like all they do is run and "infect" people these last three episodes. Oh and I hope Hiro doesn't spend too much time in 1671 Japan. Both those storylines don't really interest me.

Get off the storyline of Sylar! If they continue to show Sylar going after other heroes to get more powers, it is going to be boring. Although, one question...why is the company so interested in keeping Sylar alive?

Does anyone think that West could be this mysterious killer? In the scene where Benedict saw his death in the painting, it kinda looked like Claire was kissing this dark figure.

yeah.....I couldn't tell who Claire was kissing in the painting...but it looked to have been a hooded character....so maybe we get an Evil Claire?! Does Claire kill her dad?!

I dunno....but this episode was QUITE boring....yeah I understand it set up a few things....but it really didn't set up all that much....and the freakin' Hiro storyline SUCKS! I actually moaned and slapped my forehead when he said he wasn't coming back...haha
and I thought the Claire/West storyline was really cheesy

I think my beloved Heroes has reached a place where I couldn't care less about the characters or what is happening to them:

Niki wants to be "cured"? WTF??? She has super-strength not the touch of death. What is she whining about?

The Peter finding himself snorefest is made almost watchable by the fact that he is doing so much of it shirtless. Almost...

It's bad enough that they continue to write Hiro as a pokemon who throws up his hands and says "Yippee!" at every opportunity, but now he's saddled with that tired old chestnut of helping the englishman be a better man. I think making Kensei a white guy was a cop out personally. Much as I've admired the diversity of the show, by Season 2 it's become clear that they've missed a lot of opportunities to develop the non-white characters beyond their initial two dimensional portrayals (this includes of course the still nameless Haitian and the now apparently deceased ex-con DL).

I hope they do better with the twins esp since the stunning Alejandro made his debut, but their trek is already becoming tiresome.

I like Mohinder but he is also criminally underwritten. We always know what's happening weeks before he does and it's painful to watch him figure things out. The poor clueless Doctor just finds out last night that Issac was dead. *sighs* It really kills the immediacy of most of his scenes.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that somehow Candice is alive. I was just starting to like her at the end of last season and it seems implausible that she would let her guard down around a known psychopath like Sylar. Ah well we'll see...

As to Claire in the Flyboy...Ugh! I hope it's revealed that he has some kind of pheromone power because things have moved along way too quickly. I'm just not feeling them.

And I want the Big Bad or Sylar to kill Molly and Micah. Is that wrong? They're excruciating to watch. I can't tell if they're bad actors or just badly directed.

I agree, Claire's story line with fly boy is getting kinda boring and soooooo predictable. In my oppinion its going to be fly boy that kills RHG. You can tell flyboy has some seeded hatred for RHG since he poked and proded him way-back-when.
Oh and i'm dissapointed that everyone seems to have abilities... in the X-men comics they have a series called "House of M" where 90+% of the mutant population loses their powers... Heroes should considering doing something like that.

I kind of like eveyone having powers, and yeah the Hiro storry line is starting to wear real thin with me. I dont think these season Sylar will be absorbing everyones power I think there is something stronger than him out there

Has anyone else ever noticed how strange it is that Claire has multiple piercings in her ears? This week on the beach, I saw she had both ear lobes and at least one cartilage piercing.

Based on what we've seen on the show, shouldn't her body have pushed out the earrings and healed the piercing immediately? Even if she were able to keep the earrings in and have the piercing heal around them (like normal people do, but it usually takes a month...), wouldn't they close up the second she took the earrings out?

It's not important, I know, but it's always bugged me.

To be fair, of the two, Molly IS the better actor, but I think she's written so that she talks like a 40 year old woman. No child says the things she does. It's creepy. I'm convinced she's an android.
