  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Officially voting for John McCain.

anywho. i guess ill vote cuz you all say i should. its taken me a bunch of fags to realize i have a voice, god love it!

McCains Got My Vote! love that man!

The biggest misperception is that Conservatism will save America. It won't. It is a substitute for an anemic lack of inspiration and connectedness.

grow the fuck UP......people DO have reasons for their decisions, you know....this is 2008....in all 57 + 1 states!

Bud, I believe there are 50 states in our United States. I've been pretty busy lately so there is a possibility that more have been ratified. ;) Actually, I'm just giving you a hard time--that was probably a typo.

Moving on...

Unless you're an affluent, white, Protestant, male I really don't see why anyone would choose to vote for the Republican ticket. Throughout history the Republican party has oppressed minorities and women, has tried to get rid of all social services, has cut funding to public schools, and has created tax cuts and laws that favor the uber wealthy and their businesses. I'm amazed that so many regular folks continue voting for them!

Of course this was meant to anger us, but at least you are voting.

I really do find people's reasons for voting for McCain are just hilarious.

It's like saying "I'm going to drink this arsenic because I hate Coke and they bottle tap water... tap water can go fuck itself... I don't care if this arsenic is going to kill me, Tap water is in coke and I hate Coke... they can fucking die... duh!!"

I've yet to hear a "smart" or even "thought out" reason for voting for McCain. Not one. Every reason I've heard is juvenile and bizarre knee-jerk reactions to things made up by Fox News or Rush Limbaugh or based on half a sentence taken out of context intentionally by the conservative media who also sold us the bill of goods about the 'weapons of mass destruction' that everyone seems to have forgotten about."
I was thinking the same thing when I heard their reasons for voting for McCain

I'll never forget reading that clueless turd in the politics forum who said that gay people should all vote for John McCain because if we're nice to him maybe he would stop supporting laws and policy that hurt us.

He said that the reason that Republicans hate gays is that gays hate Republicans.. gays started it, see? If we hadn't just decided one day that we hated Republicans, gay marriage would be legal by now.

Meh... I guess America deserves what it gets. I'm not saying that anyone should or should not vote for a candidate.. it's just that your support of one candidate shouldn't be based on a few sound bytes by someone's wife a few months back...

Wow, just wow. I would love to call him stupid, but I think he might be beyond that...WOW

that was no typo -- i was parodying barak obama ..

in one of his speeches he said how hard he was campaigning...something like "i've already been to 57 states, with one more to go"

this from the man so many praise ...and who wants to be the next president...laughable slip of the mind / tongue....lol

I agree with Eddielee. I am voting for Obama, and I do hope he wins, but it won't be a total loss if McCain wins. I just worry about who would take over when he kicks the bucket.

Im going to vote for Obama

I don't understand people who wants to vote for John Mcsame. Im scared because of the southern states is not going to vote for a black man.

I just want a freaking job and thanks to bush its impossible

I'm seriously considering not voting. Unless there's a referendum on the ballot, it barely makes sense in most states and jurisdictions any more.

For instance, Oregon will go to Obama, no matter what. And my representative, a Mr. Wu, will be returned to congress, even if before the election he were to be found guilty of raping babies.

I voted for McCain in the primary and I'll be voting for McCain in general election. I still don't know how Obama is going to pay for his New Deals, raising taxes ohh thank you. How does he expect to change foreign policy--Iran and Taliban couldn't give a shit that he talks nice. When Hamas endorses a U.S. presidential candidate, it should raise red flags. I wonder why they don't like McCain?

And how is Mccain going to pay for this 100 year iraq war ? and im sure hes going to want to Bomb Iran

Its just funny gay people wanting to vote for Mccain

It would be like black people voting for someone who don't think blacks need freedom

Im just tired of wars and killing young lives seems like all Republicans wants to start wars. And Kill millions of young lives

What is wrong with Hamas? They are a political organization, whose members are elected by the Palestinians.

Um.. you actually BELIEVE that bullshit about Hamas "endorsing" Barack Obama?

Pretty much sums up the gullible right-wing. I guess it's true about how some people will never learn when they're being lied to or just don't want to admit it.

(by the way, how do you feel about John McCain's addict wife selling drugs?)

Again... no actual reason to vote for Grampa Munster... just knee-jerk reactions to bullshit made up by the GOP or Fox "news."

I'm ahead of everybody. I'm gonna vote for Donald Trump's toupe. ..|:gogirl:

:p

Obama and McCain are politicians... call me a synic but neither of them will do any good

Lol I actually saw Hamas officials commenting on Barak and you blaming Fox News lol. Well what's with cheap shots on age and grandpas?? At least McCain doesn't admit to using coke if that's where we should focus, and his wife doesn't preach liberal causes while living an elitist life.

again.. full of crap. Um... where are you getting this bullshit? I swear, it's like you're a chatty cathy doll.. just pull the string and you repeat the lies you're told.

You didn't see Hamas officials endorsing Barrack Obama. McCain's wife is a drug addict who admits to stealing drugs to support her habit (this is someone worth 100 million dollars... who's elite?).

Hey.. if you wanna sacrifice even MORE of the bravest and best young people to a pointless, bottomless pit... you hate America. Just that simple. We need those people here so they can make a difference.. not over there so they can just get killed one by one for no good cause.

All this crap about Hamas and Iraq and Al Quaida is just diversionary tactics and you've fallen for them. Sorry.

I'm a hardcore conservative but for crying out loud John McCain stands against everything Republicans claim to stand for. I'm no fan of Obama's New Deal style plans or universal healthcare etc etc...but McCain = endless war. McCain = torture. McCain = more Bush, and we can't take another 4 years of this hell. Obama's New Deal and all that crap is the price us republicans have to pay for electing George Bush in the first place. We fucked up hard and now there's nothing left to do but suck it up, because McCain will make it worse, not better. In 8 years maybe we'll get lucky and get a Reagan again, but if we elect McCain we'll be 8 years into WW III
