This morning my boss, a few colleagues and I started duscussing circumcision as my boss just had a son last week, and it was interesting to hear the reasoning on eather side. My boss and his want their son cut because my boss isn't and he hates it. The colleague, who is cut, left is son "intact" because that is the fashion. The women in the conversation all aggreed to cut because, "well, it looks better, smells better and easier to service."
The interesting point being, not one person presented any kind of medical or scientific research to support their decision. Not one! As these are all educated people, I found that a little surprising. Maybe it really is a personal preference and all the proof in the world won't change it. I thought it was very interesting.
I've yet to track one down here.
Yeah, the current topics pot needed stirring. But, it is still interesting to hear the passion in our arguements for either position, and the absense of scientific evidence.
