How about abandoning an old religious anti-masturbatory practise?
What's wrong with letting people make their own decision when they're actually old enough to do so, and when they're not forced against their will?
And, the comment about society as a whole is very Amerocentric. The USA is one of the few places where genital mutilation is acceptable, and preferred. In Canada, genital mutilation is unfortunately still practised because of American influence, but luckily it's not nearly as rampant (and unfortunately, I'm among the 30% of babies born in the '80s that were forcefully mutilated.). In some European countries, circumcision is illegal.

Also, have you ever heard of David Reimer? His tragic story started off with a botched circumcision...

What draws my interest is that many pro circ guys also protect and defend nature. They hug a tree daily, believe totally in evolution and some probably buy organic food.
But... somehow nature has screwed up and left a nasty little bit of skin, well we can't have that... snip it!
As I have said before I like a cut cock, but it's just my preference, why screw with nature?

It is nonsense.

I come from a generation where 90% of us had part of out dick meat sliced off by a Mohel wannabe and there was no such thing as autism. Period. The statistical incidence was almost non-existent.

Now every baby boy seems to be born with a peanut allergy and Asperger's.

What the fuck?

It might have something to do with that excruciating pain infants go through when part of their penis is cut off without any anesthetic.

Whether it is linked or not though, it's still something that needs to be illegal except for medical conditions. I honestly can't believe anyone in this day and age still supports genital mutilation.
