In CA or specifically SF, baby circumcision is banned as it is considered a mutilation.
In moslem countries boys get circumcised at 8 yrs old with no anaesthetic, ouch.
I am glad I got cut, looks better than sausage

Cutting off the foreskin removes a lot or nerves and desensitizes even more, so you're dick may look better than mine, but I enjoy mine more.

In reality, you can't miss what you don't (remember) having.

For all you know you might have HATED being uncircumcised only to get it done when you were older.

Umm no. My eyelid has a function, and I wouldn't prefer constant red, dry eyes (see: Ben Stein).

The reason I like my circumcised penis isn't because "all other people around [me]" have one. I like it because I've seen both circumcised and uncircumcised wieners, and the latter kinda creep me out.

Oh my... this is the first circumcision thread I've stumbled across since becoming a more prolific poster... how exciting.

People are always mentioning this topic when riffing a list of the 'troll' subjects most frequently seen on JUB. I care so little about whether or not another man is cut that I didn't see how it could be a 'hot topic'. It all makes sense now, though.

Oh, and the foreskin has a purpose too. At least two in fact. Although in fairness they can be considered benefits rather than necessities obviously, otherwise people wouldnt get circ'd at all.
First, the foreskin aids stimulation of the glans each time it rolls over the rim.
Second, for women, the foreskin covers the rim on outward thrusts, so a womens natural lubrication doesn't get pulled out of the vagina which can lead to vaginal sores from frequent or prolonged sex.

Let me rephrase then: I think they're gross. That's not a phobia, dear.

Interestingly enough, there are really varied conclusions on how circumcision affects sexual activity The truth is, there's no consensus on the penile sensitivity of cut vs uncut. Nor is there consensus on overall sexual satisfaction.

Nice link. Now, with cut and uncut being arguably better or worse, we can all agree that it doesn't matter either way at least.

Now, its just about a persons individual choice to have it done.

Of course, I never said anything to the contrary. I just said I personally prefer cut. Without sufficient evidence to conclude anything else, it can only be personal preference.

Lol no, not personally. And let me say that not all uncut penises are created equal. When I say I find them gross, I'm really just referring to those with copious amounts of foreskin.

As to the o/p's question, my opinion (I stress opinion) is that non medical or

non secular circumcision would fit into the definition of mutilation in the same

manner and to the same degree as tattooings and piercings

The shaving of body hair and the challenges of P/E or erection failure are more

valid lines of inquiry.........again, JMHO.

Difference between cut and uncut is cut has to become a total masochist to stroke his corona while uncut can endlessly slide it in and out at ease till full and peacefull arousal as long as he wants, let alone the foreskin sensitivity as such ("an sich" like the Germans say cause this is a question of existencialist philosophy as the French say. Is a guy allowed to exist or not? Cutting a guy is clearly telling him he is not allowed to exist.).

THAT BEING SAID, I have seen quite a few uncircumcised dicks that were just nasty looking. Like the foreskin is too small and it's strangling the head so it's bright red in a not-very-healthy-looking way.

That would be called Phimosis if it doesn't retract from the head and Paraphimosis if it won't slide back into place to cover the head. Either one requires medical attention.

If you're asking about my husband's previous sexual history, I don't think that has anything to do with it. He had WAY more sexual partners than I did over the years, plus he started at a much younger age.

This is a fact. I immediately noticed the difference when I first got together with my husband. Not that my own glans isn't sensitive and all, but his is definitely smoother and more sensitive than mine. The sensitivity issue is unquestionably a valid argument.

The smoothness, softness, and sensitivity does not have to be an issue for a cut guy. There is very easy, very inexpensive solution.

Get some pure Vitamin E oil (about $7/bottle). Right after you shower, pat the head and shaft dry with a towel, and apply 5 or 6 drops to the head and what's left of the foreskin. Within a few weeks you'll notice a difference in smoothness and softness of the skin; within a few months you'll notice a large difference in restored sensitivity.

My doctor suggested this when I complained about the head of my cock. After years of rubbing against clothing, the skin does what any other skin on your body does - it forms callous.

I've been doing the Vit E oil thing ever since and my cockhead is very sensitive again. The dry skin is gone, and it's smooth and soft.

When did this occur? It is unfortunate that he was treated in such a way.

Ryan didn't receive abuse because of his decision to get circumcised. He received abuse because he became a fanatical pro-circumcision advocate to the point where almost all of his posts were about the benefits of circumcision, and he spent quite a bit of time trying to convince JUBbers to get circumcised for no reason at all. He was incredibly inflexible and close-minded, and I personally found him incredibly irritating. I never gave him any abuse, but I was not at all sad to see him leave. If he hadn't been so good-looking, he wouldn't have had nearly as many supporters as he did.

Hmmm .. I wonder if Ryan came back under a new name. Because lately there has been a JUBBER who is as fanatical about circumcision recently who I am surprised hasn't yet made it to this thread considering his knack for popping up or mentioning it in nearly all of his other posts.
