This evening I was in the public library. At the time I was leaving, suddenly rock music started to play. What the...? Then I realised it was 19:50 and that was the signal to anounce closing time. :ROFLMAO: Now I'm curious to know if the play the same song every day.

That's funny that the library would play rock music at closing time. The libraries I've encountered over here usually announce closing time about 15 minutes early, advising patrons to bring their selections up to be checked out, followed by another announcement at 5 minutes before that the library is now closing.

Today my friend JC and I spent the day in Barcelona. First we visited a beautiful park in the highest part of the city.
We had lunch (the service was quite slow), then headed to the city center and visited a few gay shops.
It's interesting that more and more streets are pedestrian only, this really changes the perception of being in the big city.

es genial que hayas pasado un dia agradable con tu amigo en Barcelona , me gusta esa foto , a pesar de la estacion de invierno , al parecer el clima se ve tolerable

Me gustan las ciudades que tienen calles solo para peatones , mi ciudad no es adecuada para esas modificaciones , pero si he estado en 3 ciudades que si tienen ese tipo de calles ...

That looks like a really nice park you visited. I would certainly like to check out Barcelona if I ever get to Europe. I wish there were more pedestrian only places around here. Everything is built for the automobile, and there are few places that you can really just walk around and enjoy yourself without having to deal with traffic.

I like pedestrian areas. We have quite a few here. Since it's a small city I can walk everywhere. I take the bus a few times a week, too. I rarely take my car into the city, I only drive to other places.

John: I'm planning everything for the Easter season. As you can imagine, the Holy Week is very busy in a Catholic cathedral :ROFLMAO: And we have a few other celebrations the weeks after that... This evening we have the first choir rehearsal.

Today I was practicing at the organ when a group of visitors came. There were some acquaintances among them so I let them into the organ loft. One of them was a boy I hadn't seen in years. I remembered him as a cute teenager, and now he is a hot man in his 20s. OMG! This made my day :love:
