I wonder what kind of natural resources Greenland has...?

uh oh. Another brown person in America who thought he was equal to white people is coming to the realization that the climate isn't as moderate as he thought when he voted with the MAGAts.

Suddenly it looks like Russia isn't Greenland's biggest worry.
The US now represents an actual existential threat to Canada, Greenland, Panama and to some degree, Mexico.

Even if the US doesn't act on its expansionist imperialist agenda, the entire game is now changes with respect to our relationship with the US.

The media amplify and tub-thump for Trump's territorial takeovers without hitting back that these threats undermine the UN charter.

The leaders in Congress and states are not standing up and decalring his threats to be madness.

The people of the US aren't making noise about this. Except the ones cheering the plans on.

Canadians are disgusted by being demeaned and threatened by a neighbouring state.

The one good thing is that Canada is improving their security.

You obviously have never tried to cross the Canadian border. They have pretty good security 😂
But like spicy Mexican food, going out of Canada is more painful than it was going in.

Stay tuned!

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Friday she expects the U.S. will officially run up against its borrowing limit in mid- to late-January, starting the clock on a major fiscal challenge facing President-elect Donald Trump in his first months in office.

“Treasury currently expects to reach the new limit between January 14 and January 23, at which time it will be necessary for Treasury to start taking extraordinary measures,” Yellen wrote in a letter to congressional leadership.

Maybe i had an attendant that didn’t care. The last time I walked over to Canada at Niagara Falls it took my passport and drivers license to get into Canada. To get back into the US I only needed to tell them what state I lived in 🤷🏻‍♂️

It depends on where you cross. When I was in Niagara the last time, I drove across the border into Canada on a country road on my way to a winery and the guard was sitting with his feet up on the counter and just waved me through.

When I re-entered the US on a major highway, I was stopped by a US border agent who yelled at me, "Get out of the car!" and proceeded to check the car with a flashlight looking for drugs. Of course, that was before NY State legalized marijuana and it might be less painful now. ;)

Going to Canada to experience the "Windsor Ballet" was usually easier than returning to the US.

Airport experiences have been similar. I always allow 3 hours for customs when I'm flying back to the US from Canada.

Again. It isn't about border security.

It is about a trade deficit that the US has with Canada.

His taunts and threats are not tied to any talk about border security.

They are about demeaning and diminishing Canada...to paint it as the enemy so that when the tarriffs make all your prices rise, we will be the ones blamed for this kleptocratic policy that will line the pockets of him and his friends and provide the tax revenue he needs to extend his ruinous tax cuts.

But as ususal, I really don't expect you can understand.
