Why would the French read American politics as relevant to France? They are a nation that prides itself on not being followers of either Britain or America.

And the religious Fundamentalism that roils American conservative politics is not endemic to France.

Yeah, tis is pretty much bullshit. Justifying slaughter by claiming victim, gee, I guess none of us are ever responsible for our own behavior. How very convenient.

It doesn't matter what HAMAS did, Israel is still responsible for the blood on its own hands. Israel is not excused because other are terrorists.
