I guess the silver lining here is that, at least for the moment, Gaetz is completely out of government.

But it really does underscore how rotten the GQP really is to let this slide and cover for him and protect him all this time.

And I guarantee that Trump knew all about this when he nominated him because it would give him a total hold over Gaetz.

I would certainly hope this is beyond the pale for Florida. But if he gets the seal of approval from the Trumpster, who knows?

They elected Generalissimo DeSantis twice, with the endorsement of Trump.

They voted for Trump three times.

And they keep electing Rick Scott, who should be in prison for fleecing hundreds of millions from Medicare, twice as governor, and now twice as U. S. Senator.

I don't understand the GOP voters of Florida at all, but it seems that they now dominate the state, so their opinion is the only thing that matters, politically.

I like your idea, but I was thinking the top pay at a company should be 10 times the lowest, although 100 times is a similar thought and probably more reasonable. I also thought that after a certain income the tax rate should be 90% although my brother suggested 50% which is more reasonable. There would probably have to be a different computation for capital gains.
