Political correctness versus Mathematics; will liberals win?

I would remind you that with democrats in control of Chicago elections, there has been no Republican Mayer since the 30s. Nationally immigration is giving the democrats an increasingly solid majority. Trump won by operation of the Electoral College, but only because several solid democrat starts went Republican this time. In the future that will be increasingly less possible. Immigrants and minorities vote democrat and the anti-white campaign, including anti-white 'privilege" and anti whiteness in general are aimed at demonizing whites, convincing minorities that all whites are racist , all with the effect of solidifying the minority vote for democrats.
Democrats have 4 of the 9 on the Supreme Court and Obama nominated a 5th. When that goal is achieved, the democrats can change the election laws. It can gerrymander while claiming to end Republican gerrymandering. Democrats did that in the Voters Rights Act but it backfired. It would prevent requiring voter IDs; it could hold that all residents, even illegals have a right to vote. There is no appeal from the Supreme Court and by distorting the constitution, they can alter elections in favor of democrats in ways we cannot evenguess.
It is not an exaggeration to say that we are very close to a permanent one party system.
 
BTW, I have to wonder where she got her degree. In my university math courses, out of seven grad students teaching the small group sessions only two were white. Three were from India, one from Indonesia, one from Iran; I don't recall where the third was from.

The third, like the others, was not a Trump University graduate. Just sayin'

Sounds like you are afraid of your government, but need a villain closer to home.

The primary flaw in your presentation is how you attempt to conflate the results of a research study with the end of the world, as we know it. I speculate that you have no particular interest in the story of Ms. Gutierrez who claims that the way we go about teaching math is somehow connected to a lingering prejudice in our system. You simply need a soapbox upon which to stand in order to proclaim the usual litany of eschatological catchphrases.

I think it is fair to regard it as a racist attack on white accomplishment in the area of mathematics; attempting to eliminate mention of the originators such as Pythagorus. It is also fair to regard it as part of the overall acedemic movement arracking "whiteness" and "white privilege", which can only be regarded as a racist attack on whites.
If you do not see the larger movement demonizing whites and white culture and working to destroy the white majority, with the effect of creating a one party democrat state, you are just not connecting the dots.

I cannot agree with your attempt to see Ms Gutierrez's article as isolated from a much larger attack on "'whitness" and whites.
 
The University defended her without denying the existence of the article as it no doubt would have if it were an invention of the publication.

I know virtually nothing about Campus Reform. In this particular instance, they are quoting from a publication--rather than a verbal statement, and not a mater of opinion-- it is unlikely that it is misquoting the publication. While the university is expressly defending her right, if Ms Gutierrez were being misquoted the university and/or she or others in the math community would have objected, rather than merely defending her right.

The first 15 paragraphs of the News-Gazette refer to and quote from the original book chapter. Only then does it say that Campus Reform reported on it. It is not a fair inference that the NewsGazette author did not consult the original book, either before or after seeing the Campus Reform article.

When schools teach "white privilege" and see whiteness in every subject and discipline, including math, how can minority students fail to see that whites are evil and oppressive? Will they not resent whites and see suppression and racism where it does not exist? Will whites not resist the demonization? Are not the schools and their party intentionally teaching animosity and division? Why do white liberals meekly accept their own demonization?

That's an interesting read. It reminded me of another defense of the content of courses such as literature, that European literature upholds logic and rational thought -- and how, being in college at the time, I had seen so much evidence that the heirs of that culture no longer value logic and rational thought.
