holy shit! did anyone see it tonite? the ads for next weeks episode where jeffrey is crying? busted! too bad, cause his collection was really good...i was turning into a jeffrey fan after seeing his stuff at the beginning of tonight's show but damn! laura got him good.

i gotta give it to laura...i was a michael fan but i love her assertivness and her ability to call it like she sees it...she'll do well in this business.

I don't think there is any scandal...Project Runway and most other shows tend to do some pretty good editing to make it took like something it's not..I'm sure we'll see him at Bryant Park...I don't find it surprising that a designer could finish their collection within those months, I actually find it more surprising how much unfinished product there has been in past seasons. I think the other designers see how much of a threat he is, because his collection is definitely the most shocking (in a good way)

I am sure Laura will get some backlash from people (ie. some Jubbers here) about her initiation about this entire Jeffrey thing, but how's this different from what Kayne did with Keith earlier this season? If you did something bad, you'll get caught- doesn't matter who told on you.

SPOILERS:

But I am confused, I know Jeffrey cried... but I'm guessing it's out of happiness and relief because he DID show his collection at Bryant Park- a great collection indeed. Either they'll show his collection or anything else would be something else, but there is something to be shown.

granted you're usually right about the editing for 'reality' shows. but why the hell was he crying and getting hugs? that didn't look like a happy cry, he looked devasted. and laura was right when she said he didn't react like himself when she accused him of cheating. he normally would have gone off like he used to on angela but instead he acted all scared, like a man caught with his hands in the cookie jar.

Geez guys I hate spoilers. You are making it difficult to participate in the thread.

Anyways, I loved this episode and I was very impressed with Jeffrey's collection when I first saw it. In fact I mentally put him in first place. But then when I saw how everything of his was complete whereas everyone else had more work to do I was suspicious. And frankly it was clear Tim had some questions as well. However, if it turns out he did do everything himself I think its clear he is the winner and perhaps the hugs, etc were to congratulate him.

This show should be on broadcast tv. It is one of the best shows on right now.

I figure they show way too much in one direction of the issue for it to be cut and dry that Jeffrey's been eliminated. And let's tone down the spoilers, please.

I figure it's just out of shear tension and fear. Jeffrey's mellowed out for the past few episodes, so that may explain why he didn't fly off the handle. I'm sure he's probably just crying because this scene is right before they depart and he thinks they'll cut him for no reason.

Personally, though, I think Laura (and Michael) is in the right to voice her concern. It's very suspicious that all his dresses fit perfectly to the point where he has absolutely nothing to do. At all. And what about that issue where they had to turn in their designs or whatever in a folder ot Tim and he took forever?

Either way, I don't think Laura deserves any backlash for voicing a rational concern shared by another member and to a lesser extent, Uli.

Anyone have a link to articles, pics, or the like of their collections?

If the spoiler wusses don't want to link posted because they're too weak-willed and can't resist clicking, then just PM me.

I totally agree. It doesn't matter who brought it up, if you broke the rules, you should face the consequences (I'll even put my bias against Jefferey aside). In Laura's defense, it would suck to get all the way to Fashion Week and lose to someone who cheated (assuming that he did).

For next week, maybe Jefferey will still be able to show at Bryant Park, but he won't be in contention to win Project Runway. Just my guess.

I hope Michael wins, altho I would be happy if Uli won also. I love both of them! I think Laura is kinda boring and I can't stand Jeffrey, he is such a asshole!! I loved Keith and I think he had a very good chance of winning if he didn't get kicked off, but he is a liar..those books did not just show up in his room! I hope they bring him or Allison back for next season! I loved Kara Saun and Daniel V from previous seasons!

i love laura. sure, her work is predictable and she can be over-critical of her fellow designers, but her designs are classic, her execution flawless, and she is so freaking real and practical...and i hope jeffery is kicked off the show and can't show at new york fashion week (although i already know that he does) because he is just an ass that is trying to gather the sympathy vote in his last desperate minutes of fame.

UGH! HATE!!! Uli and Jefferey were my least favorite out of the final 4, so by default, I was rooting for Uli when they got to the final 2. I thought a few of Jefferey's pieces were good, but it fell apart somewhere in the middle. And some of his models sucked. I really didn't want Jefferey to win.

My favorite collection was Laura's, and judging by her actual graments and by audience reaction, I thought she was going to win, but the judges were kinda right in their assessment that her design sense is really limited. Uli's collection was just OK to me. Michael's collection was interesting to say the least - and not in a good way. Heidi was really spot on when she said his clothes looked like his audition material -- kinda amateurish and tacky. What happened?

Oh well. When's season 4?

how did Uli's collection not WIN? i am so enraged. freakin' heidi klum. Was the dress-turned-into-bikini not innovative and stylish or what!?! Uli was the one that was CONSISTANTLY good.

how did Jeff's collection with TWO DRESSES that looks completely out of porportion and the overspending beat Uli's close-to-perfection line!??!?!?!?!? I loved Uli and Michael from the get-go. And i can not even express how disappointed i am that Uli or Michael didn't win (michael didn't win...ok, his line wasn't impressive...but Uli...her line was nice!). it's almost as disappointing as when Vincent or Angela were not the first people getting kicked off! And jeff should have gotten kicked off for being an ass on the 'daily woman' episode for the way he treated angela's mom and for creating an ugly dress for her. I HATE PROJECT RUNWAY and their BLIND JUDGES.

so anyways, YeahWhatever, when IS season 4 starting?

jeffrey won cause he's "edgy"...i think it's bullshit too. they gave it to him cause uli's stuff is too commercial for them...just look at how nina kept saying that "every woman in american would wanna wear your designs" to uli like that was a curse or something. i wanted michael to win but there's no question he blew it big time...so uli should have won.

I cant believe Uli didnt win. Her collection was glam, chic, sexy, fun. I was wowed by Laura too. Its was all about glamour, style, sophistication. I was dissapointed by Michaels collection. Jeff's collection wasnt deserving of that win. he made those 8000 dollars look like 800. The only piece I was wowed by was the one MeriLinda was wearing.

I thought that Michael's collection was awful...I don't know how he went from being so good to bad so quickly. Nerves?

I don't know. I think maybe returning to their respective home 'turfs' may have caused Michael, Laura, and Jeff to produce what was within their comfort zones. The influence of the other designers and the situation of being on the show might have made them stretch a bit further than usual in the challenges. Only uli really presented anything in the final that wasn't her 'usual', and I think she should have won. (Michael and Laura both will do well with their respective potential clientele, though, so good for them!) Jeffrey's, to me, was not that terrific, and I wasn't excited by his winning. Glad all four got to show, though.

I think Laura is a little bitchy...the whole season, all the judges have asked her to stop making cocktail dress and show a little bit more range. So what she do...makes a collection of cocktail dresses. And she got a little carried away with the "beading" or whatever hangs from the bottom of her dress.

I felt like Laura's craftmanship will almost ensure her a relatively succesfull career in fashion, since people have noticed it. I love her style and feel like older clothes for older women is a perfectly fine and innovative line to create. But I was hoping for that wow factor and I didn't really get it.

Michael's looked like stuff Beyonce would wear in her videos and I saw how it fit in a specific audience, but in general, it looked unprofessional, so I was disappointed.

Jeffrey's was innovative and edgy but none of it really floored me at all. The colors were subdued and boring. The only thing I really liked was the zipper dress.

While I always found Uli's stuff pretty, I found it boring. But her runway line was surprising, showed her range, and generally beautiful. If she makes clothes that all women wanyt to wear and has been consistent, why did they not choose her? Edgy is nice and all, but is it practical as a selling point? Established designers can afford to make over the top fashion even if no one wears it, but Uli can make stuff for your average woman and your higher end woman.

In the end, I thought she deserved to win, but she didn't. I guess edgy wins the game.

Laura and her arrogance (or her over confidence depending on your POV) actually thought she could win the show...but she wasn't and isn't fashion forward like PR wants it's designers to be. She has established herself as a classic and glamorous designer that rich NYC women will hire/buy...and her garments are quite nice and marketable...but not innovative.

I'm disappointed that Uli didn't win...i really liked her free and flowing style. The East German immigrant coming to America "Land of opportunity" storyline just couldn't compete with the former drug addict turned fashion designer storyline. I knew that Jeffrey would win...naturally... because he was the one I couldn't stand. I actually did like many of his clothes... but he is such a rude jerk that I couldn't route for him.
