I wish Isabelle was on the show. Remember how she wouldn't stop sewing and Tim would get pissed? (Rightfully so). :)
 
All-Stars this week's critiques.
Justin-Yes. It was a very beautiful dress. The fabric is very pretty.
Helen-Yes. The look was different and not expected.
Jay-Yes. I liked his dress. It was pretty.
Samantha-No. I did not like her dress. I thought it was not a flattering look.
Fabio-No- It does not look at all like denim. Bubble gum pink is not blue denim.
Gunnar-No-The bodice of the dress made it look cheap.
Sonjia-Yes. Her dress was very pretty.
Dimitry-Yes, The dress was very modern looking.
Michelle-Yes-But I did not like the skirt. With the big hips it was not flattering at all.

Sonjia was the winner and Gunnar was sent home this week.
It was about time for Gunnar to be sent packing. I think the next person that needs to go is Samantha. I have not liked her designs at all this season for All-Stars.

What does everyone else think? Any opinions or critiques for this weeks designs? There must be more people out there watching besides myself, Arpeggi, and Spunks.
I would like to hear from everyone and get their opinions and critiques.
 
I really liked Michelle's gradient technique with the lace. The skirt was awkward, but that mattered less. Sonji's was okay, nothing special in my opinion, it just suited the challenge very well.
I actually like Samantha's suit with the plaid brocade and peplum.
I really liked whatever it was Fabio was working on with the color blocking. Not sure why he insisted on changing it to all pink. I actually kind of liked the necklace on the face.

I completely agree with Helen regarding Jay's dress. She may have expressed herself inappropriately though.
 
Sonjia: love it it was so cool..it was very 70s disco but could go very hookerish at the same time..but the styling was right on
Justin: so boring and ugly
Gunnar: i loved the fabric..so pretty but what he did with it..the top, the stilluette was unforgivable
Helene: i liked the head but agree with judges that it was too much..if the top would just have been a tube top or a turtleneck that would have been so modern
Dimitry: it was horrible...nice fabric..looked allmost liquid but the model looked so big in it
Jay: ncie design when you think it was denim..but the fit was so fucking horrible
Sam: not her best , good fabric but that drapery at the bottom of the jacket was a mess
Fabio: the color was nice..but it looked like something you could find at a vintage store
Michele < nice design but agian fit issues
 
This week on All-Stars the designers worked in pairs to create a look for a couple going on a first date from Match.com
 
Justin: No-I thought his menswear look was too simple looking. It could have been bought off the rack from anywhere.
Helen: No-I thought the dress made the woman look like she was pregnant.
 
Jay: No-I did not like his menswear look. The pink and grey jacket was ugly I thought.
Fabio: No- I did not like his menswear look either. The T-shirt was too plain and nothing special and too casual.
 
Samantha: No- I thought her woman's look was ugly!
Michelle: Yes-I loved her edgy menswear look. The cashmere sweater with the zippers were really cool and her pants with the button details was cool too!
 
Sonjia: Yes-I liked her dress and the color as well as the details on the top of the dress.
Dimitry: Yes-I liked his menswear look. I liked the diagonal on the shirt.

The winner was Fabio. I thought Michelle should have won! Her look was edgier and more detailed than Fabio's.
No one was sent home this week. Justin has now been on the bottom 2 weeks in a row. It is past his time to step it up!

this episode was a little boring for me..simply because most people just like very plain clothing and this is a design competition.. for me all of the design except for fabio & jay can be bought in any h & M, banana republic etc store.

Sanjia: the color was nice and cut out was allrigth but agian dress seen 10.000 times
Dimitry: boooring colors the design was proberly there but the colors was boring... if he wanted dark he should have done all black instead

Michelle: she needs to go, she is such a bitch and complain the whole time about not getting help, acted like a little baby because she didten get the woman wears, and there was too many things going on her outfit
Justin: glad he went home he should have been gone for ages ago, maybe not even be on the this season

Fabio: i like the idea but there was something about the fit and the color, but the dude looked so hot so job well done
Jay: I like it it was very nice and the whole talk about pink being a womens color, and he should feel like man talk in the work room was so fucking ridiciulous

I have to disagree with you Spunks. I thought Fabio and Jay's designs could have been bought off the rack anywhere, with the exception of the awful Pepto Bismol pink jacket Color. The jacket design was nothing special or unique.

I still say Michelle's outfit, the cashmere sweater and the pants looked very special and not ordinary.

Anyone else watch this week's All-Stars? What are your critiques and opinions? I would like to hear from more viewers out there!
 
I'm fine with them saving Helen and Justin. But Samantha should have been eliminated. Pretty boring challenge and episode. Fabio's model was super cute.
 
Tonight's episode of All-Stars was a bit interesting.
Justin-Yes, I liked his dress and swimsuit.
Helen-Yes, I liked her designs as well.
Jay-No, I thought the swimsuit was ugly.
Samantha-No, the swimsuit was too exposed. It was distasteful.
Fabio-Yes, I thought the swimsuit was very colorful.
Sonjia-No, the swimsuit was ugly.
Dimitry-Yes, the dress was very pretty and so was the swimsuit.
Michelle-No, The dress looked like a rag. No style to it whatsoever. The swimsuit was hideous as well.

The winner was Justin. He deserved to win. The blue dress was beautiful and the blue swimsuit was pretty and it was a nice design.

Samantha was sent home. She deserved to be sent home. Her dress showed too much booty. It bordered on distasteful.

Justin: this was so basic this look... and the swimsuit made the model look heavy and very long because the thin straps if he had made them alittle bigger it would have been okay but still basic

Michelle: The dress was fine, very 70s discoish and but the swimsuit.. the straps that goes around her neck was too long so the actually swimsuit started to low on the models body made it look like it was too small, other than that its fine

Sonijia: I loooved it....the swimsuit on its own...not so much

Jay: it was nice but like Justins this can be bought at alot of stores already.. swimsuit was horrible...that print

Helene: also did lace but unlike Sonjia's this didten look light and expensive...it was too overworked... the swimsuit was nice though

Fabio: I like it... it felt very beachy and light.. the swimsuit didten really fit that good..and that print..auch

Samantha: this was sooo good, the jumpsuit, the color all though the top part had some issues with the fit either it should have been looser or super tight.. but the swimsuit..no girl

Dimitry: the dress was good except for that awfull cheap gold trim, the swimsuit was nice... the color and dress was perfect for his model

So Sam went home think it should have been Jay it didten bring anything new to the table atleast Sam pushed it.

Justin: yes, I thought his design was avante garde and chic.
Helen: No, I thought it was ugly.
Jay: Yes, I liked his design, but didn't think it was avante garde.
Fabio: No, His design was also not avante garde.
Sonjia: Yes, I liked her design.
Dimitry: No, I thought his design was boring and not avante garde.
Michelle: No, I thought her design was ugly.

Dimitry was the winner. He finally won his first challenge. I disagreed with the judges. There was nothing avante garde about his design or look. Justin was sent home this week. I liked his look and did not think he deserved to be sent home this week. I did not agree with the judges critiques this week.

Helene: the color was way off for me, and it looked very heavy maybe if she had left the bottom ruffels out it would have been nicer
Michell: i liked it nice colors and volume, but agian seen this dress before
Fabio: the color was good, the design was great but didten get avantgarde from this
Sanjia: it was so good except for the hood but the rest was flawless
Jay: looked the student work, it was too messy, the jacket was nice maybe if the dress had been in another fabric

Justin: it was nice, didten care for the color
Dimitry: one word: NO
