Project Runway

It was Alexanders' time... has been for a long time. But, and I think i'm noting a theme here, if Char went for that red mess of an outfit, I would not have been mad either - she deserved the bottom spot. Alexander made two bad outfits, so there was no saving him.

HOWEVER. I don't mind that Char had the extra time to put on a zipper, because that's ALL she did(had she added ANYTHING else, I'd say she should be disqualified). And I don't like how all the other designers decided to throw shade at a choice they could have said no to - if you thought it was a second Tim Gunn save, open up your fucking mouths and say no, she had all the time she could have had, just like the rest of you. Don't try and be all mad after the fact and say she shouldn't be here because of something that maybe she could have controlled better, or maybe was just the (bad) luck of the draw. I don't expect designers to be paragons of virtue, but damn, have a little class.
 
As much as Alexander deserved to go, which has been LONG overdue, Tim's critique was not at all constructive. He claimed to say it out of his responsibility to be honest, yet he totally bullshits Alexander at the end "you're one of the best designers we've ever had on Project Runway". No. He is not. Tim Gunn, you are full of shit. And so is the "Tim Gunn save".

Also I want Amanda to be my best friend. Her designs are okay and she is usually very smart in knowing what will appeal to the judges and what she can accomplish in time. But generally, I just think she has a delightful personality and sense of humor. I want to have drinks with her. That does not mean she should win. Sean should win.

Also, Sean is more and more attractive with each passing episode. Very cute.
 
Alexander < I actually liked his first outfit...it was so fun and so much better than the one he decided to show... also i dont get why the designers changed there whole design if tim dosent like it... step up and believe in your own designs and besides last episode Tim told sean & char to drop their fringe.. sean did it (and he ended up in the bottom) Char kept hers and was in the top...just saying...

Amanda< was so ugly and boring.. looked something you could buy at h & m..nice colors though....

Emily: loved her design.. the top was so nice she should have made the bottom more simple and slick....

Kini< for me he is more of a seamstress to me

Char< super boring .. also the other designs should just have said yes they had a problem instead that shady thingy they are doing to char behind the scenes also its funny how insecure most of them are inthem selves if you design is good its good dosent matter if char gets another 10 min or not....
 
This week's Challenge: team challenge of 2. Each team bids on a storage unit. Each team has to create 2 cohesive looks from found materials in storage unit.
Tim announces a twist that each team has to create a 3rd look using mostly material.
 
The top team: Kini/Amanda
Kini is this week's winner. I liked his soccerball dress.
Emily is in.
Sean is in.
Bottom 2:
Korina
Char
Nina makes a comment that Korina's look is her 4th Southwest design. Korina says it is not. She says she only had one Southwest design which was a winning design. Emily comments that Korina is resentful. I have to agree. Korina has a chip on her shoulder that she is the best designer. I don't think her designs are that great.
Heidi presents another twist that each of the bottom 2 designers have to create another look within 1 hour.
Char's blue dress with cape looked very nice and she won.
Korina created a black and white dress which she did not love herself. Korina was sent home.
In next week's preview they bring back designers to help the remaining designers with their looks. Korina gets paired with Char and she says she can't work with her and walks out. It just shows what a B-I-T-C-H Korina is.

What does everyone else think? I would like to hear everyone else's comments.
 
Char's dress was much better made than Karinina's was and it was much more stylish and presented the beautiful look on the runway she deserved to win.

She was just bitter and felt she was better than Charquita. Clearly she was not and deserved to go home.
 
I'll shed no tears for Korina and her bitchy smug attitude about Char - her(and her model) didn't deserve to move on with either outfit they made for both challenges. It was disgusting, and when she lost, she just got more disgusting trying to bring Char to her level, and then have the nerve to shush her when Char - rightfully - got offended by it. Again, class - Korina needs to find some.

Now, I just need Char to REMEMBER THAT SECOND OUTFIT - the first one(and that lamp shade one her and Sean made - ICK) was horrendous.

Kini's soccer ball(football) dress... man, if you make me a fall jacket like that i'd wear it til it got either too cold or too hot to stand it. That was awesome. Aside from that pimpette quilted jacket, he and Amanda were the front runners, and well deserved... EXCEPT that trash bag dress. I just didn't get it.
 
thank god she went out Korina. her attitude was so fucking off and its been like that for the whole season which i think is kinda funny when you at her designs they very relaxed but clearly she is not..got what she deserved..and thar whole remake about coming after char and then telling Char to be quiet its not about her...girls please....

the only thing with Chars design is that they are very now not very whats going to be....

I loved Kini & Amanda but i wished the fur jacket had been on the pink outfit it was sooooo much better
 
Korina getting sent off in tears: probably one of the single most joyous moments of Project Runway ever. I was afraid she was going to end up another Gretchen.
I loved Nina's reaction to that Carmen Sandiego look. But I can't say Emily's was really much better, pretty much just looked like a chair. At least Sean's lamp shade dress had an interesting silhouette.

Also, Sean's sassy jab at Char's sewing at the end of the episode was adorable.

Sean's lamp shade dress may have had an interesting silhouette, but it was unwearable. The model could not walk in it. I have to give some props for creativity. Emily's chair dress was also creative but Yes it did look like a chair. Next time the designers get creative they also need to think about practicality.
 
Project Runway is getting near the end. It's getting very close to Fashion Week. Project Runway All Stars Season 4 returns Oct 30.

Any predictions on who is going to Fashion Week?

i dont know i didten think this season had such strong designers so there is no one im really looking forward to see do a whole collection

so it was Kini,Sean,Amanda & Char that made it.. fine with emily going home, she didten give attention her 2nd look and it showed + i liked the fabric choice for the pyjam'esque thing underneath that awfull hoodie thing


Kini = I didten understand the judges fasination with his red dress, it was soo boring and done 10.000 times before, im more looking forward to see if he can do a collection where he isent referencing another designer

Amanda: her colorblock dress was fucking amazing, her 2nd look reminded me of what all the girls was wearing at 90s rave parties

Char < that was just very poorly done and her ides are really good but i find it hard to believe that she can get her skills together to put on a show

Sean< i didten like that white outfit at all, thought it was so poorly put together even though the idea was great,his pink look was so dramatic and fun

the thing im looking most forward too is he reunionen and korina..
 
This week's Challenge: create a look that is street chic. Also create a 2nd look from a losing design from: Mitchell, Korina, Samantha, Fade, and Sandhya.

The 5 losing designers came back to help their designers with the re-do. Kini picked Mitchell's look, Char picked Korina's look, Emily picked Samantha's look, Amanda picked Fade's look, and Sean was the last designer and he was given Sandhya's design to re-do. Korina refused to work with Char and she left and was replaced with Alexander.
 
Sean: I agreed with the judges, I also liked his street chic look. It was clean and crisp. The skirt was also unusual. His 2nd look I was not a fan of. It was too costumey for me. Way too much fringe.

Kini: I also agreed with the judges, the trench coat was great, but the outfit underneath it was just so-so. The 2nd look was very nice and elegant.

Emily: I also agreed with the judges, it looked like pajamas with a hoodie over it. What's her obsession with hoodies? I don't get it. Her second look was nothing special.

Amanda: I did not agree with the judges. I thought the dress looked like a maternity dress or a Mu-Mu. Also her 2nd look did not look like her design.

Char: I also agreed with the judges, too much going on in her street chic look. It was not executed well at all. Her 2nd look was nothing special.
 
The designers going to NY Fashion Week are Kini, Sean, Amanda, and Char. Emily is out.
I predict Char will design a collection for NY Fashion Week, but will get eliminated and not make it to NY Fashion Week.

Any other comments?
 
Never seen this show but my mom and sister watch it. Is it any good. Should I watch.
 
I predict Sean will be the winner of Project Runway Season 13.

Anybody else with their predictions? comments or opinions?
