Ryan's reaction was better than I thought. Probably because he knew already since he first saw her and had over a month to adjust. His way of asking the question wasn't as rude as how they edited the preview either. I still think it's rude to just straight out ask someone though but he probably doesn't know better from not being exposed to this stuff.

JD should know better since he is gay and he outed her not this episode, not the episode he confirmed it with Chet but the first episode. He was trying to look out for Kaitlyn though and Ryan already knew right away but Chet had no idea. JD hasn't been that bad other than his drunken moments which people excused in past seasons but not this one. I feel a bit bad for him since he went on the show because he wanted a family and friendships that last forever but since the show ended, he probably only still keeps in touch with Scott, Baya, and maybe Sarah.

I don't think Ryan redeemed himself at all. He was just as ignorant as ever.

Ryan was ok with the talk. But the way he talked about it was still very immature and kind of demeaning. And I can't forget Ryan and Chet eavesdropping on her confessional then telling everybody. It's stupid how people give straight guys credit for being sort of accepting. Gay people need to have self-worth and hold straight people to a higher standard. It's like people wanna throw Ryan a parade because he isnt tranny bashing her. He still isnt as respectful as he should be and he shouldnt be let off the hook until he is.

Exactly. I'll be the first to admit I'm not knowledgeable about a ton of stuff - but I have the common sense and decency to not act like an idiot when faced with issues I'm not familiar with.

I'm just lost with how often "ignorance" will be played as a get out of being a complete douche/borderline bigot free card

I think a lot of Scott's comments about himself were just jokes. Both him and Devyn know that she likes him and he teases her. People take things too seriously. If anyone sat down and recorded a group of friends joking around and listened to it, they're going to sound mean if you take everything they say literally. If he does love his body and does love himself, he still cares for everyone else just as much. He's been one of the most open minded guys ever casted on this show.

Does anyone think that Sarah is playing a little too "nice"? I have no problem with her but sometimes i wonder.

Yeah, I feel the same about her. Her being a goody goody tooshoo gets annoying but you can't hate someone for being nice. My favorite is Scott, then Baya, then Devyn/Kaitlyn.

I am gay and I still don't fully understand transgenders. I have no problem at all with anyone that is transgendered, but I do feel for them because life is going to be a lot harder for them. And finding a partner even harder, because there are so many new factors in there life now.

Like when Katelyn went out on that date, and she didn't tell the guy about her. I am unsure whether to say its wrong or right. There are good arguments for both sides.

I think it was foul for Katelynn not to tell that guy she went on a date with. Especially since she was putting him national television like that.

Ryan on the other hand has been completely childish, ignorant, and demeaning about everything he wasnt familiar with. His "acceptance" was completely negated by all of his other antics. Especially his eavesdropping on Katelynn's confessional then making fun of her with everyone later in the car.

A lot of people seem to think oh Ryan is ok now because he didnt run out of the room screaming. It is not Ryan's business to really have a reaction. It is Katelynn's life and Katelynn's body. How does it affect Ryan, you , or me if Katelynn has a penis or not? I dont see why the roommates have feelings about whether or not Katelynn tells them. If she's not fucking them, it's not their fuckin business. Why is it necessary to hear people's deepest darkest secrets to be close to them? Why can't people be judged on how they treat you and what you experience together without hearing their life story?

J.D reminds me of Davis from "Real World Denver", he is a jerk but due to the fact he is a little attractive, everyone will act like he is the icing on the cake.

Basically, as simple as 1,2,3.... Sounds like typical folks in life these day who gives passes to those they find attractive.

I was hoping that the ugliness I saw in J D was only when he was drunk but now I see he is a complete and total jerk.

Kate was easy to give Ryan a pass with his grunts and growls and ughs by saying he has exactly the same reaction as all str8 men. I don't give him a pass that easily.

I think the kindness and goodness of Scott came through. He seemed the most distant up until now in the show, but never showed a mean side. On this show he showed that he is a person that judges you on who you are, not who he thinks you should be; not on your looks but on your persona, and he has a good heart, I think. He amazed and surprised me. Maybe he doesn't have an in-your-face- personality, but he got all the other stuff.

Sarah, what a great girl. She takes all her pain and suffering and turns it into positives, seeking to help where she can and comes off as being enthusiastic to help.

But I am disappointed that Sarah even tried to reason with Chet and JD and apologize to them. They were wrong and she still pours her heart out to them.

Even though I dont always agree with Devyn's points I do like how she identifies certain things as wrong and can shut the boys down. She shut JD's nonsensical ass right up.

It DOES seem a little rude to use the flags to poke each other and mess around. And then the guys get mad at Sarah and Katelynn because they told them to stop. It's like kids goofing off or messing around in church..you don't mean to be disrespectful to the preacher or God, but that doesn't mean you keep doing it.
...I really don't see a point in the boys being pissed.
And JD is awful.

Yea Scott came off pretty well on the aftershow. But He missed Colie's point when she was explaining to him that the other guys making fun of him working out could also be subtle way to dig at him and not simply a joke.

I agree 100% with the girls on that one, they were being very childish. That wasn't a situation to be "lightened up".

Nope, I agree. I watched the last one praying every episode that Johnny and Kenny would fail and lose their key.

Where are they getting the RR people? The last RR I remember seeing was Campus Crawl and that was like five or six years ago.

They aren't really getting any. The last completely normal RR was X-Treme, which was probably 4 or 5 years ago. Then they had a "Viewer's Revenge" that was half new people/half people already on RR. And then one of the challenges was "Freshmeat" or something, and had half new people/half people on RW/RR. So other than RW, that's where the new people are coming from, but most of them have been used a bunch already.
