So sorry to hear about the migraine. My partner Kev gets them occasionally. Thankfully, I don't. One thing we've noticed is that his stress levels can sometimes trigger it.
It's possible that your anxiety, leading up to the stocktaking, may have been the culprit, rather than the event itself. The positive side of that is, now that you know what it's like, you won't be as cranked up about it come April 7. Though I've heard that familiarity can breed contempt, in this case, what you know NOW might help lower your stress THEN. It's no longer so much of an uncertainty.
Then again, as tricky as migraines can be, something else, entirely unrelated, could be the trigger.
My advice would be to do some searches on migraines, and definitely see, or at least talk to, your GP.

Chaz, thanks I have high blood pressure, which was diagnosed a number of years ago following regular and severe migraines. My medications largely prevent them but I have come to realise that stress and tiredness can bring one on. So, this latest one was due to tiredness. On stocktaking day I only had a 30 minute break and a 20 minute break and whilst I was able to fortify myself with food and drink, the breaks were hardly restful.
