Good evening, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*) :kiss: Yes, I was working on Monday, it has become a regular part of my working week now. It was a very trying day, hot on the heels of a very trying weekend, but then that is nothing new at my workplace ](*,) My immediate boss (the Customer Service Manager) admitted to me that she realised morale amongst the staff is low ](*,) Maybe after the stocktake things will improve, but I won't hold my breath.

Good evening, Foxy.(*8*):kiss: I hope you’ve had a great rest day today with your feet up doing nothing at all. I had my water cut off by workmen when a neighbors stop tap would not turn off. They were installing a new central heating and boiler for him. To turn it off, they had to use the master stop tap and cut us all off!! I hope it’s legal to do that. I didn’t think they could do that without a court order, or something.

It seemed to be allowed wherever I've lived. In one place, the buildings had instructions detailing which buildings were connected, water-wise, so the appropriate residents could be notified (if possible) when repairs required shutting off the water. I think it was more of a courtesy than something legal, but people who failed to comply probably had some sort of consequences.
