RedFox70 Appreciation Thread...

Good evening Foxy (*8*)

I hope you're feeling better (*8*)

Hi, Fox-E!

Here in The States, dentists were asked to suspend their practices because they were using masks, gowns, and gloves. Given the inept shortages here, and considering most dental procedures are elective, it was thought that PPE could be better used in hospitals.

Thankfully, things are beginning to loosen up a bit, and some dentists have reopened their offices, though strictly by appointments only, which have been spaced out to avoid crowded waiting rooms. They want you to wait in your car, and they'll call you when it's your turn to go in.

Mom's in a senior living facility. She has her own apartment, so she's not in the nursing wing. Somehow she managed to chip a molar, a few weeks ago. She did get a hold of her dentist, and he agreed to open his office mainly for her. Though her complex has been under lock down, they "let her out", and took her to get her tooth taken care of. She's more than fine now, and back to beating my sorry butt at Scrabble online.

I sincerely hope your tooth improves!

(Virual) HUGS!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

Hiya, Chaz (*8*) I'd forgotten about the PPE shortages #-o, we've had issues over here also :( Glad to hear that your mom is okay. My toothache is improving. Thank science for antibiotics :=D:

Hello, dear Ali Cat (*8*) Thank you, I am feeling much better today ..|

Good evening, Foxy. (*8*) I’m glad the antibiotics are working for you, you should be able to eat better now. Hopefully the PPE issues can be soon resolved. I was speaking with someone earlier today, who helps me out with my anxiety issues, and she said that, all being well, our dentists should, hopefully, return to work later next month.
Today, I’m okay, although a bit warm with the warmer weather. I’ll have to have my fans on tomorrow.

Good evening, Rob (*8*) Thanks. Actually, eating hasn't been a big problem for me, as long as I kept the food away from the sore side of my mouth. That's good news about dentists. I really will have to get checked up as soon as it's possible to do so. Glad to hear that you are okay, despite the risk of melting! (*8*) The ground was wet when I got up this morning and the day has been mostly dull, but the sun did show its face in the late afternoon. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny here, as well as even warmer.

Good evening, Gatorguy (*8*) Thank you :D

Gorgeous pictures from you both :luv2:

Good evening, Foxy, (*8*) I hope you are feeling much better this evening, and that you’ve had a good day. I hope you have not been too hot either - it will be cooler from tomorrow. I’m okay, and I’m now feeling quite nostalgic this evening.

Good evening, Rob (*8*) Thanks, I'm okay and have had a pretty good day. I took the nephew for a walk to the park, then sat in his garden with his mum and dad, keeping my distance from them at all times. Only trouble is, I wasn't entirely in the shade all the time, as I have only realised this evening that parts of me are sunburnt :( I'll be alright though as it is not too much ..| Lovely foxy picture :luv:

Some pretty pictures of my city :luv2:

LightNight: Liverpool lights up to celebrate its creative community during coronavirus crisis

16/05/2020
The city of Liverpool lit up on Friday 15th May to celebrate the city’s artistic and creative community, on a night that would have seen Liverpool’s 11th LightNight festival.

The annual arts festival sees 100s of artists, producers, creatives, performers, writers and musicians exhibit work at free events in spaces across the city centre, all on one night. Each year, thousands take to the city’s streets to enjoy this incredible culture crawl.

To mark the evening, which instead saw the city streets empty during lockdown, artists and arts organisations came together online to share work and buildings lit up to celebrate Liverpool’s vibrant arts & culture scene. Liverpool’s two famous cathedrals, linked by Hope Street and often host to special LightNight events, were instead lit up by a projection of colours, symbolising hope, solidarity and community.

Looks nice Foxy. :D do you ever drive around to see them?

Yes, I am feeling a little better, thank you. I think that has as much to do with going for the walk and spending time with family as the medication though.

Well that's good. I haven't been out for a walk for ages. I pick up the kid this weekend. Maybe I can get her to go to the park Saturday.

Good evening, Gatorguy (*8*) Thanks, it's been good but obviously would be more enjoyable without the toochache. Such cute kits! :luv2:

Good evening, dear Ali Cat (*8*) Those crazy foxes!
Aren't you allowed out for walks? Or is it because you've been too busy/tired? I hope you can get out this weekend ..|
