We went for a walk to a local country park yesterday. Here are some photos

Wildflower meadow

This is the first time I'd seen this and I was delighted with it. It's actually on the inside of an old running track, which has been largely unused and neglected for a while now. However, since Covid, the area has been used more and so a local group got together and made improvements, including widening and resurfacing the track and planting the wildflower meadow. Sadly, there are plans to put a road through the park, so I'm guessing it's possible that this particular area won't be there in a few years' time

What lovely fields and seaside. Your nephew seems happy to visit his big friend as do you. I wish it would cool down to a descent temperature for a walk here. We are beginning yet another heat wave

The work force reorganization at work is causing confusion. Asset Protection (that's me) is the only area that will be untouched. We continue as before. Hoping for a rise.
