May I suggest going to the strip instead of bonham? Since it's Saturday and all... maybe start at bonham and head to the strip around 12 or 12:30?

oh i'd be willing to consider it! the strip would also make for a nice friday night excursion as i'm guessing a number of jubbers would show up early (as happened the first time in s.a.). i say we keep your idea on the table! ..|
 
Ok. re-reading the thread has made me consider picking up an overtime hour here & there at work ;) Wanna be sure I can attend. An unexpected car payment can really put a dent in your finances

that's not bad! i figured it would be higher.

word is that when you buy airfare do so on tuesdays and wednesdays. fares are supposedly cheaper.
 
Delta runs about 10 non-stop flights a day from ATL to SAT. $258

much cheaper than when this thread was first posted. could change again between now & then

Barring my still having classes at that point I'd love to go... :D

540 miles isn't much at all. Maybe save up two grand total for the entire trip. Possibly more. ;)

I might even drag a friend or two along. I know one that would love it.

My schedule changes too rapidly for me to give a definitive answer for a few more months at least though. :(

Yeah... *cough.* I'm terminally rich... *cough.* I was thinking about only one grand or maybe fifteen hundred. I decided I don't have that much restraint... :(

I have to have fun while I'm there don't I? I, for one, cannot stand to go to another city without visiting at least one mall and buying everything in sight.

I'm obviously spoiled... :(
