i believe one of my aunts was a lesbian. i can't confirm it as she's long since passed. and there are several cousins on my dad's side who are out right gay. i hope you can make a connection with your cousin.
 
Me too. He lives next door to my aunt so when I go see her he'll probably be around somewhere.

I don't really want to see the other ones though... They are some really freaky conservative Christians that take everything too far. Last time I saw them was at another cousins wedding and there were ill feelings toward that cousin because she was pregnant before they got married and got that attitude complex thing when my gay cousin was within earshot. Needless to say I hate that side of my family. The damn bigots...:grrr:

Oh yeah. Happy thoughts. At least I'm working on getting out to my family. And I'll have a way to celebrate it at the same time. ..|

I think my aunt is a lesbian, too. She's an unmarried southern Baptist woman with short, sporty hair and gets very opinionated and over-the-top offended when anything gay is mentioned. An "Interactive Male" commercial came on the TV one day and she went all "Ugh, how disgusting *tsk*" but said nothing a second later when the "Meet whore girls on the phone!" ad came on. Just one example.

Those wacky lesbians! ;)
 
My aunt (the one in SA) has been married three (or four) times and was the first black sheep on that side of the family.

i think the short, sporty hair was a dead giveaway.

and i dig the sisterhood. my favorite bar/club/dancing partner is a lesbian. but we're trying to figure out an appropriate distance thing because people seem to think we're together. :confused:
 
Well it's official. My friend will be at Disney World through to next August. I'll be coming alone most likely. :(

What the hell will I do with myself in a car for almost eight hours?!?! :eek:

If I don't have people calling me or texting me I'll go crazy... Music will help too...

well i'm sorry that your friend will not be making the trip with you. but i'm sure you're going to have a great time once you get here. we will have to establish a phone tree to make sure to call and text you periodically while you're on the road. ;)

I'm sure I'll have fun. My human shield just won't be there to help me be as dorky as I act online. In other words: I'll be an uptight bitch for an hour or two. :(

There are things that can be done to make me relax a lot faster though. ;)

Well my number is on my facebook for all my friends to see. No issues with having to hand it out now.
